I would have enough respect that if something unexpectedly came up I would call to cancel. Having said that there is NO way I would ever pay a cancellation fee.

Cancellations and time waster seems to be going around like wild fire these days

The cancellations have been insane!!

It doesn't sound like you are out a bunch of your time, and you did find out a "few hours" before an appointment that was only made about 30 hours before. I had heard a thousand stories a lot worse than this from BOTH sides.

One possible explanation after hearing only your side of the story is that since according to you, you both texted and emailed him, repeatedly "hours before" your appointment that was only made the day before, perhaps he thought you were a PITA and changed his mind about seeing you after you started blowing his shit up??? If he changed his mind because you were a pest, I don't blame him for ignoring your cancellation fee.

Sorry, but there are just too many holes in your story for me to feel too sorry for you, cancellations happen on BOTH ends, get over it.

Well, I guess I must of meant it then. lol

 MuCH  Flirtation was exchange through the night before and threw the day..the anticipation level was at full exclamation point  of the things we had in store for each other ...

  I shoot him a text to let him know I am on my way ...no  response ... no biggie, I keep traveling ...  20 minutes later I text again .. no response back ..hmmm..  not too concerned considering our communication throughout the last 24 hours so I continue to travel ... I wait for a response from my 2 texts...nothing... I keep traveling  and wait as I don't want to be on my phone much why I am on the freeway for  safety .

..  at this point I am 10 minutes away from his home and get that funny feeling in my stomach ...I call and am sent to voicemail.. perhaps that was a mistake?... now I am parked in a quite residential just up the street with my music and lights turned off staring at my phone  looking really out of place in the late evening ...   I sit, I wait, I fiddle, I fix my lipstick and keep staring at my phone .....

 Finally,  I  concede to the fact that I have been ditched ...sigh. Grrrr..ugh

  45 minutes there and 45 minutes back plus personal get ready pretty lady time ... Ouch!  
 Let's just say on the  drive back home I was… Irritated .  :/

 Should he call back to kiss and make up… He owes me dinner! Humph ha!
