Are the "ranches" worth the trip out of vegas or not?  Which the classiest?

Well, it's legal out there to exchange money for sex.  It's safe sex.  Brothels are incalls.  No advanced notice required, just show up and ask for a line up or let them come to you at the bar.  As long as you're willing to pay, it's a sure thing.

The downsides are the closest ones to the strip are an hour away (one way; you might be bummed out on that hour trip back), it's safe sex (BBBJ? sorry, CBJ; DATY? has to be covered; no kissing please) so it doesn't feel like a GFE, and unless you're made of money and don't care about list prices, you need to negotiate rates for services (instead of buying a used car, you're haggling for her services) which for me, is a buzzkill.

Sheri's is one of the two closest brothels to Las Vegas.  They have a website.  They're trying to make it the most upscale brothel in NV.  Of course, if it's too fancy for your tastes (or pocketbook), there's the Chicken Ranch nearby or some other just further into Nye County.

First, Sheri's Ranch is NOT the closest legal brothel to Las Vagas, the Chicken Ranch is (but only by about two city blocks). You have to pass the CR to get to Sheri's, since Homestead Road dead-ends at Sheri's parking lot (contrary to some published maps and Internet sites).

Next, while condoms are required for intercourse and felatio, DATY is often uncovered. Though I once indeed received a BBBJ at a legal brothel, it's not the norm, and not something you can (or should) ask for. Covered DATY is not legally required (though the statutes are rather nebulous on this subject) and I have found that the vast majority of courtesans who allow DATY do not insist on any barrier.

I only did it once, at the Chicken Ranch.  May not be typical, couldn't say.

That's why we say "your mileage may vary". However, your experience is not typical. I've had over 40 brothel parties and have only had one I'd consider to be bad.

I used to do web work and some photography  for Sheri's back  in 2001-2002 and I have sampled  some of the girls there and at the C.R. , even going back to 1996, and  while you can have safe fun, it is  more expensive and  not nearly as much fun as with  a good indy. Not even worth the time  when thre are so many lovely indies in Vegas...
