I know this was just posted a couple threads down, but it turned into a big pissing match and I'm not sure the question was ever even answered (I don't even know why it turned into a big pissing match).

Since AVN is going to be at HardRock this year, wouldn't that be the BEST place to stay?  And I'm not concerned about where I have to meet or being seen by anyone or elevator security or any of that stuff.  

I know HardRock sits a little off the strip.  My only concern is that, in the highly unlikely chance that I were to run into someone at AVN (hey it could happen), and we wanted to spend a little private time together, wouldn't HardRock be the best place to be staying?  I just don't want to have to be fucking around with cabs or limos to get back and forth.  I know when it was at Sands, the Venetian was always the best place to stay.  

Myself and a friend are in the process of booking our trip and we would like to do it soon because the prices are really good right now.  Any advice the from the ladies, Vegas locals, or those more experienced AVN goers would be appreciated.

And the place was full of hookers, they were real aggressive too, at the bars, in the parking lot, walking in the casino, shortest tightest dresses I've ever seen, and the guests dressed the same way, all young kids. With AVN there it should get pretty wild.

I read that they will take over the Palms AVN week.

With $20 lap dances, they try to talk you into the side room for more, but once you get past that BS they strip down and give you a really good dance, meet a girl that pinched my nipples so hard I thought they going to come off.

And Saturday night when I first got there the CVS across the street had the best show off all, tons of hard bodies, heels and short skirts, I went there every day for a week.  It's the only drug store I know of that kept the condoms behind locked glass doors.  I asked them why, and they told me it was the most frequently shop lifted item they had. I imagine for AVN they will need to sell them from a truck in the parking lot with armed guards.

I love staying at the same resort that a conference (any conference) is held in. It's worth it's weight in gold to be able to get to/from the conference with nothing more than a short walk and an elevator ride to deal with. No cabs, valets, traffic or parking to deal with. Need an afternoon nap? Go to your room! Carrying too much swag? Go to your room! Hook up with a random hottie? Go to your room!

That parking lot you speak of is busy all the time especially at night.To answer the OP hardrock would be the most convenient considering you are coming for AVN no worries about cabs.After you have really partied a short walk to your room can't beat it!

I had known this since they announced it this past summer. I have a cousin who is a manager at the Palms and she notified me back then as well.

But, this article was posted on September 16th, so am presuming that this is correct, and it says HardRock; and that seems to be the consensus on the board here to now - I sure hope I'm right cuz I've already booked my trip and room!!
