When security is present, they have no qualms about asking your date to produce identification if they suspect she's working. Since MGM took over the policy may have changed, but I've seen girls tossed out there for not having proper ID.

I am thinking of coming to Vegas for a Vacation/work I am pretty popular throughout my area on the Boston boards ...any sugg. on Hotels that are fun and not too nosy for the work aspect of my trip... I am not sure how the hotels are out there... if they are nosy... bother the girls.. you know that kind of stuff...  I would like it to be a very upscale hotel cost is always an issue... but not half as important as the hotel being very nice and very accomadating...thanks in advance;}

On the strip I've stayed at Treasure Island and the Monte Carlo.  They are nice places, have easy access to the parking garages.  They are reasonable rate wise and the room I had at the Monte Carlo was nice.  Both times I stayed at Treasure Island I had suites.  The suites there are nice the honeymoon suite is about 600 square feet and the excutive suite is 950 square feet.   If they have specials the rates on the suites are not bad.  The last time I stayed there I had a special rate on a honeymoon suite.  It was not vacant when I got there so they put me in the excutive suite for the whole week at the same price as the special rate for the honeymoon suite.   I've also stayed at the Orleans. It's nice, and the rooms are 450 square feet.   It's off the strip.

The Treasure Island stations security near the elevators to ask for room keys.  This could be very "bad for business" if the lady plans to do incalls in her hotel room.

Some other Strip hotels do the same.

I didn't know that.  The last time I stayed there  they did not have security at the elevators.

Wow!!!  Thanks for the info on that.   They have really changed then since the last time I was there.  Might not stay there again because of that.  One of my friends did tell me of security following her up to a guys room once, and that if I stayed there she would like for me to meet her at Valet parking.

You can pretty much pick any hotel/casino and not worry about them being nosy.  The only time you'll ever run into problems are if you try and pick up guys in the public areas (like the inside of the casino), make out in public, flash or some other public forms of indecency (there have been reports of that kind of stuff happening in public areas of the Rio and Hard Rock).  Chances are, you'll have to meet your clients somewhere public on the property as many places will check for room keys at the guest elevators.

Best non-casino hotel is actually attached to one, the Four Seasons (they use part of the Mandalay Bay although they have a separate entrance).

As for fun, most of the casino/hotels try and keep you on the property so there will be all sorts of entertainment, shopping, and dining options at most of them.  Really depends on your idea of fun in public.

Good luck and have fun,
 Bob
