The thread was about negative or non-positive reviews in which people use euphemisms to make the negatives appear less harsh.
If one is to go to review sites that review services/products, one will see that many of them don't use these practices. When people give lower ratings they don't hold back punches. They will call a cell phone garbage, they will call a company they work for garbage, and they will call a doctor garbage.
If they thought there were very few redeeming
qualities, people don't hold back.
People do hold back in escort reviews. And I want to know why and what's the reason.
In fact, I believe you yourself have voiced that giving a girl a lower grade is equivalent to "bashing" her. So clearly you believe in holding back criticism in a way that isnt too harsh.
And my question is simply, why?
Is it some kind of compassion because they're women? But women are doctors and professors too and they get rated as doctors and professors just like everyone else.
Is it some kind of compassion because they are doing a tough job?
There is discrepancy here that I find fascinating and I want to figure out the reason. Maybe it's the fear of being BLd, maybe it's some perverted view of gallantry and chivalry.
Again, the review usually isn't a good review in cases of euphemisms. So the monger did have the courage to make a mediocre or worse review. But the need to obfuscate thing isn't explainable to me, especially compared to reviews of other services in the world online. And so far I haven't had a viable explanation yet.
Hell, so far there was only one explanation overall I think - that the obfuscation is a byproduct of old habits.
