Are you saying you just now noticed that most photos have been shopped to the point that it doesn't look like the same girl?   The agencies have been doing this for years.  In the old days, they just blurred out their faces, now they change them enough so they are not recognizable.  The almost always pull in the waist, pump up her tits a few cup sizes, and plump her flat Asian ass a little.  I can't believe this is new to you.  

 
Whether the booker responds quickly or slowly depends on how much  of a VIP you are with a particular booker.  There has been only one booker so far this year that didn't get back to me within minutes of my appointment request.  The ones I do a large volume with are often a matter of seconds in responding.  Conversely, there are bookers in other cities that I only use when traveling, and sometimes I don't hear back for hours because I have only seen a handful of girls in a whole year.  Haven't you ever been waiting in a restaurant for a table and some guy walks in, the Maitre d' addresses him by name and takes him to what should have been YOUR table?  LOL    That's the way business works.  The more business you give a booker, the better service you get when you want to see someone.

Maybe it was the old "bait with fake picture and switch"  tactic
