I recently became aware of this and had to look up what it is about.

Beginning Oct 1, 2020, to board an airplane the passenger will need to present a RealID compliant ID.
In the past, I've asked more than a few girls and it seems their 'status' is an overstayed visa, whether it be tourist or student.  I know one, she has been here over 20 years on a overstayed student visa.

Now, I am beginning to wonder what it will mean to our K-Girls?

For those that don't know, a RealID compliant aka national id compliant identification card will need to be presented before boarding a domestic flight, a military base, or most federal buildings.

To obtain a RealID compliant id, one will have to show proof of identity, in the form of a valid US passport, permanent resident card, etc.

In California, there will be both a compliant and non-compliant RealID card.  Both of the same design, the non-compliant will bear the mark of Federal Limits Apply.  California has this to issue a drivers license to undocumented immigrants.

This means, our kgirls may be limited to areas within driving distance.

girls who overstayed in California.   They can go to the DMV with a driver's license from another country and walk out with a state-issued ID, OR a California Drivers License if they want to take the written exam, which is offered in many languages.   I have spent many weekends out of town with vacationing Kgirls that have been here several years after overstaying their visa.  We both flash our California driver's licenses and walk right onto the plane.   We can thank the Democrats for this.  I consider being able to legally fly with a girl that overstayed her visa (and is therefore an illegal) the price I pay for the oppressive taxation we ALSO get from the democrats.  I'm not being political (I'm Libertarian), just factual.  There's good and bad on both sides of the aisle.

the passport of a foreign national  will have the entry date stamp, which will give away whether they have overstayed their visa allowance or not, so even if they are using the passport as ID to fly domestically, they could be detained at the airport if their visa is no longer valid.

I would agree that there is a risk for TSA to check the traveler's immigration status, but I believe this is not their primary duty. On TSA website, it says acceptable ID includes foreign government issued passport. It does not specifically say that a valid visa is required. It even says that as long as "they can identify the traveler", they will let you fly without ID. I don't know how long it will take for them to "identify you" if you don't have an ID, though.

Again, it is a risk using a passport without a valid visa for domestic fly, but the risk should be low, considering that the passport is a "real valid" passport. When going through TSA, smile, say hello, look at the agent in the eyes when the agent looks at you, and thank them on your way out.

Ones who have overstayed will still be able to move within US.  If money is right, they will hire taxi drivers/coyotes instead of air travel, train, busses, etc. to work in different towns.

That has been here a couple of years actually came here from Seattle initially by taxi, so we do know its an option, but I think she said it cost her a couple thousand.  But that was after the Seattle bust that had all of them freaked out for awhile.

If it gives them peace of mind that they are not going to have to deal with any immigration issues, I can see it being worth it to a lot of them.   I have known some that take the taxi back and forth daily between Ktown and WLA where they work, rather than just overnighting at the incall a few nights a week.  They often spend money on things that don't make a lot of sense to American men, then turn around and get cheap on other things, like food, but we're not escorts, so who knows what goes through a working girl's mind?    Lol

I dated a Korean AMP girl well over a decade ago who had a very nice apartment (we'd stay there on weekends and when she was on vacation) only fifteen minutes or so away from the spa, but during the week she would almost always sleep at work because she worked such long hours (7 AM to 10 PM) during the week that sleeping at work got her an extra hour or so's worth of sleep each night.

It's funny how the human trafficking crowd point to the fact that so many AMP girls sleep "all crammed together at the spa, without even a real bed to sleep in" as PROOF that they are being held against their will, when the fact of the matter is that almost every girl who does so is doing so by choice and western beds are hardly a necessity to someone born and raised in Korea, the same with a couch. My ex GF only bought a bed when we started staying together and I was the one who finally bought her a couch because if it were up to her even the thought of buying a couch had never entered her mind. She was perfectly happy sleeping on a small mat in the living room and even after we partially furnished her place with a bed and couch we still slept on that little mat in the living room about half the time. (I have to confess, I grew up without a couch too. lol)

Many girls at the NY KMPs would also sleep in. They work in Manhattan, but might live in Queens K-town or elsewhere. Why schlep back and forth for a few days? When they take a KMP shift, it's usually for several days (3, 5, 7) so they just live in. To some, it seems like they're prisoners! Held against their will! Forced to sleep on the floor (or futon or mattress or sofa or tatami mat)! Nah ... they're just hangin' out until the weekend when they take their money, shop til they drop and then hit the clubs!

Being different.  My current Kgirlfriend only sleeps in her bedroom when I stay over.  When she is by herself, she sleeps on a quilted mat that she puts on the sofa in the living room.  I told her the bed is so much more comfortable (a beautiful queen size canopy bed, the size that sleeps two and fucks four), and she responds that the mat reminds her of home so she is more comfortable there (but on the sofa, not the floor).

LOL, I peruse these boards and often find coeur-de-lion's posts to be informative.

On the other hand, so many of his posts are peppered with superfluous comments evidently for his own ego emphasizing relationships with past and present Kgirlfriends. Whether fantasy or based in some part of reality, his ego boosting is meant to leave the rest of us envious and it's working, LOL :)

Gotta say that if he's not BSing, coeur-de-lion's doing alright for an old-timer!

.
OTOH, if I haven't seen a K-girl for a few days then it will pain me a little when they dish out tough love or mention their girlfriend, because damn it, I haven't seen a K-girl for a few days.

Neither CDL or I are married, which leaves us a lot more open to having "outside" relationships than the typical married guys. Also, speaking strictly for myself, I don't think my "batting average" of having hookers give me OTC time, date me, or even end up in LTR's is really that high. Like CDL, I just get a lot of "Plate appearances". lol

Look at it this way, if you only "average" OTC time with one in ten of the providers you see, actually date one in fifty and end up in an actual relationship maybe one half of one percent of the time, BUT you see a thousand plus hookers in your lifetime, you are still going to have had SEVERAL LTR's with hookers in your life, not to mention a LOT of dates, and a whole bunch of casual OTC time. OTOH, if you only see a different girl once every few weeks or less, your chances of EVER getting involved with a provider are pretty low.

One other thing that comes from seeing a LOT of providers, these women don't really respect men who put them "on a pedestal" and they have even less respect for men who treat them like whores. The more you look at these girls as simply "women" not a lot different from any other women except for their chosen occupation, the more likely they are going to see you as someone other than just a paying customer.

my closest hobby friends here, but they not only know who CDL is, but have seen photos of me with my Kgirlfriends, which have included some of the top girls in this town.  They are sworn to secrecy if I meet with them in person and are guys I trust.  So when you speculate that I might be FOS, I'm not the only one with a wry smile because I know otherwise.  They have seen the photographic proof.  If I have the girl, why do I need to boost my ego?  Its already an ego boost at my age just to have a 30-something (or in GaG's case, 20-something - he likes them younger than I do) girl wanting to hang out with me on the outside and get away from the daily grind.  I use anecdotes like GaGambler does to illustrate my points on the boards.  Its often easier to understand if we just share a short personal story about how to handle certain situations with Kgirls rather than talk in the abstract.

that a lot of younger guys trying to date Kgirls on the outside don't get.  When you treat them "special" because they are hookers, they know that is all they will ever be to you, so they will always think of you as a customer, nothing more. Treat them like you would a civvie woman, no better, no worse, and you're making them feel "normal" despite what they do for a living.  If you give the impression that you think they are "out of your league" then they will be.

An example by way of a personal anecdote.  I saw a newer girl for two hours this afternoon.  At the end of the session, she asked if I would like to come back at 10:00p and hang out with her after her last customer.  95% of the young guys I know here would jump at an opportunity like that.  My response was to say, "I would love to hang out sometime, but tonight is not a good night for me. I already have other plans."  (This is my standard response in this situation)  "If you would like to do something Sunday on your day off, let me know, but don't wait until the last minute or I might have plans then, too."  I started to leave, and she stopped me and said, "Okay.  Give me your phone number."  I did.  Three hours later, she texted me asking if I would show her a little bit of LA on Sunday, and SHE would buy ME dinner in appreciation.  Of course, I would never let her do that on a FIRST date.   She will be a lot more fun when she is not exhausted from working all day.  The point is that I did not go into fawning, awestruck, ass-kissing, gee-whiz-I-can't-believe-you're-so-beautiful and I-will-show-up-tonight-ten-minutes-early mode like the majority of young guys would do.  I treated her the same as I would a civvie girl in the same scenario.  The best OTC time is when SHE suggests it, but YOU control the where and when.  This first verbal exchange about OTC time sets the tone for who is chasing whom.  I prefer to let THEM chase ME a little, but I make it easy for them by intentionally running slowly, both figuratively and literally. Lol

I treat even a new girl like a new friend. Since my first K-girl before I knew of TER, I think they are just like any woman with a regular job, except I believe it just takes more to impress or have a Deep Impact with them. Likewise with the most beautiful girls, I don't put them "on a pedestal" but again I think "it" will be "harder" than average :-D
.
And yes, I already estimated both of your "batting average" considering what I read from you two gentlemen, even I may get a hit once in a blue moon if I am in your shoes. I am nowhere near you two in experience and charm, or a dashing good look like GaG, but if I become successful, living by myself, and old :-D I think it will be fun to have a 30-something K-girlfriend. So I think your posts are more of an inspiration than anything. I remember what can help me.
.
I am still a kiss kiss bang bang, the fast [and sometimes] the furious, then gone with the wind guy LOL, so I keep what both of you said as the end goal if I can keep "it" up that long :-D

Then you start to connect the dots and understand it just lands you in the "friend zone" and you end up a month later wondering why you have fallen for her and she hasn't fallen for you.  Most of the customers these girls have are married, so there are not enough single guys to go around, especially YOUNG single guys with a decent income.  (Which is why some girls settle for OLD single guys like me - lol).  Part of getting them to chase YOU is to let them know you have options with other girls who are interested in you, but you have to do it gently and subtly, not like you are bragging, and one way to do it is to NOT be available for every invitation you get to see them, whether or not you are ACTUALLY busy.  One of the reasons I like dating providers in general is they are preconditioned to be available according to OUR schedule and not theirs, and I like to keep that aspect in place as we transition to an outside relationship, but you have to establish it that way from the very outset.  If you start off by her saying come by the incall after I finish work, then she will continue to expect to respond to her demands to see you when its convenient for her, rather than convenient for you.  In that case, who do you think has the real power in the relationship?   I made these same mistakes in the beginning.  For me it was several years of trial and error, mostly error.  The knowledge I have gained came with a lot of scars along the way.  Nobody is born knowing how to handle a relationship with a Kgirl.  Its a learning process, so don't despair if your first few are a disaster.   Lol

Most major cities have another major city within less than a half day drive. I've often driven from Minnesota to New York in a day and a half ... that's seven states with as many or more major cities.

For one person it's roughly as expensive as airline tickets. Two or more and it is cheaper to drive.

If they schedule tours through each major city they could tour the entire country with little lost time. Driving is more reliable too. Airline schedule disruptions are a common occurrence.

Driving (or Taxi/Uber) from LA to the Bay Area makes a lot of sense. If you count "door to door" time and expense to get to and from the airport on both sides of the trip, that one hour flight from LAX to SFO/SJC is really more like five total hours in travel time, and that's without any flight delays.

Personally, any trip under 300 miles I almost always drive, unless of course someone has a private plane I can borrow. LA to the South Bay area is not much more than a 300 mile drive. Two girls sharing  a ride and the $600 tab sounds like a relative bargain to me.

a touring Kgirl's closet you will see that they will often have three large suitcases to carry all of their clothing, working outfits and other "tools of their trade" for two or three weeks of work.  With the airlines charging for additional bags now, I agree it makes a lot of sense to consider a taxi for a 300-mile trip at $600 one way.  Benny from Seattle mentions Seattle to LA below, and I know one girl that moved permanently to LA from there after the LEOG bust a few years ago, and said for the taxi and a small moving van for all of her furnishings (which was set up through the Korean taxi driver), she paid $2000 to get her and her stuff to LA.  Sounds like another bargain.
