There is presently a lively discussion on the LA Board on no shows.
Wonder what experiences people have in the Kgirls scene?
Out of about 30 Kgirls I have seen, there were 2 cancels when I was notified by the bookers 2 hours ahead,  offering alternatives.

are usually because of illness, her monthly cycle, or a water leak (which is booker-speak for a security issue).

My post has nothing to do with comparing K to indies. There is nothing to compare. The LA Board post just talks about 1 indie. What is there to generalize? You see Big over-reactor always sees things thru a lens of K vs I. As Sloc’s compiled list shows, there has to be vested interests involved. Otherwise, there is no logical explanation of such reaction, immediate and out of the way. Let’s all ask ourselves, many of us don’t care for TS and AA providers. How many go out of our way to nit pick or trash their groups? Why would anyone waste time on such silly action? Doesn’t make sense, right

which is not spilled milk? ;-) They'll have to come up with a new term; maybe appliance repairs/apt maintenance....

On second thought, maybe one did.  She was the famous squirter, but she wasn't involved with an organization or a booker.  She cancelled on me twice at the last minute.  Maybe she counted as a K-girl.

Seen about 15-20 different Kgirls, can only recall two straight up cancellations and one booker wanting to reschedule for the same day but different time. Both cancellations were for advance appts (several days to a week in advance) -> notified of one cancellation the morning of, the other the night before. Not a big deal since I was able to see other providers.

It was 15 minutes before the appointment. I texted the booker to say I was there early. The reply: "She just told me she can't work anymore today." The booker got me another girl for the same time so I didn't suffer any delay. Had a great time with the alternative.

I never figured out whether the girl was really done for the day, or that was just an excuse to push me aside and make way for some high-priority guy like CDL.

or actually asked me to reschedule

One for later in the day
and
One asking me to come earlier in the day.

A 3rd one cancelled then called back within 15 minutes letting me know I could come.
She decided to take the day off but since I prebooked she took me anyway.
One of the best sessions I have ever had.
Miss that girl too, so HOTT

I've been canceled on a few times but always early in the morning on the day.  The Bookers generally offer an alternative but not always.  If I inquire, they always offer an alternative.

Mocking us Kgirl lovers for our fanatical devotion. It's just sport to him. Don't take it personally. Some of it's pretty funny.

It makes me think you might be Korean, because one thing I've learned dating Kgirls is that the use of sarcasm doesn't translate well into Korean.

wish for more Vgirls, Cgirls & Jgirls. It'd provide more variety in conversation and cultural idiosyncrasies.
In this particular thread, his use of the most degrading word Tinto is far worse than mocking. Too bad TER admin does not understand the slang use (N word in Hispanic low echelon). They'd have rejected that post.
Besides, my post is just sharing no show experience on Kgirls. Is that a shill, or what? Why did he read into it a kind of comparison? Why does he always rush to generalize?
Any fair minded person can only explain his action as driven by vested interest

...how I was using the NAME "Tonto."  I was indicating that I was speaking in the style of Tonto in the Lone Ranger.  That's the difference between "Tonto" and "tonto."  BTW, 'tonto' means "fool" or dumb", a synonym for "estupido."  SMH at your cluelessness.

TER staff understands the difference between a capital "T" and a lower case "t."  Too bad you don't.

YOU may not be Korean, but you might be surprised about me:

what they call the duff now:  Every hot girl in the school had a homely best friend/acolyte that we called her Tonto, and if you wanted to get a date with the hot girl, the best way was to be nice to the Tonto, and let her sing your praises to the hot girl.

is loud and clear. Most people on this Board know. You see his cunning way. He puts T at the beginning of sentence so he can either refer it as cap or lower case, whichever is convenient. His mission is to cast aspersion on (generalized) Kgirls and "K fanboys". Once in a while he'll be generous and say MOST are such & such.
My only words of caution to all: vested interest.
