What have you changed or learned from when you first wrote reviews?
What's different in your reviews now from your first writeups?

In my earliest reviews I thought reviews were about reporting the action à la Penthouse Forum!  
I had some descriptions of the Kgirl, but sometimes not really useful to other Mongers.

 

After reading some posts and checking those Mongers reviews, I saw where I could improve mine to get more and better info to fellow Mongers.
I worked on my Kgirl descriptions and any tips that I thought could be useful to anyone visiting the location or that particular girl.

 

So, maybe this thread can improve the reviews that get posted with the length, grammar and spelling!
And get legitimate likes!  
I know English isn't the first language of some reviewers, but there is a spell and grammar check option on TER.

I generally have been on review websites and know that I'm reviewing a girl, not writing a penthouse novel. So I'll be talking about her qualities, as opposed to simply recapping about how we did activity x without evaluation of such activity and/or skillset.  

 
I think many can improve the reviews from listing the parts that most mongers would like to know.

 
And that part is whether or not the pics are true (to whatever degree), how old/young she is and how good her looks are. Obviously service connosieurs also wanna know about service, but most monhers want to know if the looks are true and if not to what extent.

 
If I read a review and cannot tell by a review how she is in relation to the pic, that review is likely not going to be very helpful to most mongers. And it could be frustrating too I imagine, when a monger simply neglects to state the girl is much (fatter/older/insert "bad looks" superlative here) than the average and then it's a disappointing surprise to someone.  

 
Sometimes I get penthouse moments too, but those are usually when I'm describing incredible service. There are some reviews that constantly describe the action but in such generic way they don't say anything.  

 
Speaking of generic, here's a rule of thumb - if I can read the review and literally every word of review can apply equaly to 50 different girls.... the review is pretty much useless imo. Oh she looks good, I love her tits, datyd she was wet, went into FS and finished in mish after doggie and cg.  

That review just described a million of visits. And didn't describe the part people wanna know-the girl and how she differs from other girls. Lol. When she did bbbj, I wanna know how she was at it,not just that she did it. Because the latter is self-evident and doesn't add anything [ter specific - besides letting ter know bbbj happened so the service can go to 9]

I don't really write stellar reviews anymore, but more of those that could deter others from a hard bait and switch.  

A good amount of GFE providers that I've encountered actively look to reviews since it's harder for them to compete with their PSE competitors. So any edge they can get like imitating a "true" girlfriend experience or trying some other gimmick, the reviews seem to be a barometer for them.

for a thought-provoking topic.  I spent the first 18 months in this hobby reading other reviews before I wrote my first one, and by then, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to accomplish with my own reviews, based on positive takeaways on some reviews, and my disappointment in the vast majority of reviews.  

 
More than half the reviews on TER are just a recitation of the girl's menu.  This means nothing to anyone else unless you are the first reviewer who wrote the profile.  Once the profile is up, reviewers still tend to write all their reviews from the POV of the customer.  While it's hard to know what a Kgirl is thinking, some insights can be gleaned about HER POV from the way she engages with the reviewer.  Unfortunately, few reviewers take the time to provide these details, and so their reviews become generic in nature, telling us nothing about a particular girl that does not also apply to the last 3 girls they saw and the next 3 girls they will see.  

 
What I look for are things that are unique that can distinguish a girl from the rest.  It's not always easy because Kgirls tend to follow their established "routine", which makes them seem all the same from a service standpoint until there are things they do a little different, or a little better, then the rest.  

 
In order to have a GFE, there is a social aspect to the session over and above the logistics of the sexual activities.  ANY Kgirl can get you to the finish line, but some do it with more fun, playfulness, panache and skill than others.  We've all had the business-like sessions where the girl delivers her menu with skill and enthusiasm, but little regard whether we had a real GFE, or not. (I recognize that PSE girls are less engaging, but that is because repeats are lower for those kinds of girls, and they know it, so they have no incentive to make you feel like their boyfriend.  They are just providing a warm place for you to expel your load.)   Most GFE girls want to recruit as many regulars as possible, so they bring more personality into the session to make us feel like boyfriends, not just customers.  

 
I think the social aspect is important to a lot of guys, and that's why I try to capture some of the girl's personality and playfulness that she displayed during the session.  Many reviews just say "we did this," but I try to capture the girl's reaction to what we did.  Was she into it, or was she not.  Different girls like different things, and I like to know from a review if a girl is going to react negatively to FIV, DFK. DATY. or Nipple play.  If I decide to see her anyway, I will at least know to avoid certain things that might throw shade on the session while I'm there.  I will often quote things we said to each other to show the interaction in a fun, humorous, or playful light.  Many Kgirls are quick-witted and have a great sense of humor, yet few reviewers ever touch on the banter that occurs during the session.  Describing HOW a girl reacted to various activities and situations is valuable to other mongers because it shows a little of the girl's personality.  Otherwise, it's just robosex, and a generic review will do.

 
This is too long, so I will wrap it up with this.  It's incumbent on Reviewers to make corrections in the profile that are wrong or no longer apply.  If it says black hair, but now she's blond, if it says partially shaved, but now she's smooth, if the height, cup-size, age or body shape is wrong, reviewers should point these out in their reviews.  It's amazing to me that a girl with a profile age range of 21-25 can have 10 reviews and I'm the first one to say, "No, she's 31-35, like MOST Kgirls."  For several years, I have dedicated the first paragraph of my reviews to making corrections in her appearance.  I think most guys consider appearance to be the tie-breaker when choosing among girls that all offer the same service, so it's important to get it right if you are the first reviewer, and to correct it if it's wrong and you are subsequent reviewer.  Don't guess at anything.  If you don't know, say so rather than guessing whether she has implants or not.  Then a later reviewer can fill in the correct drop-down choice to replace the "don't know" so the profile can be complete.

 
I have no problem with long reviews if it's caused by including more information about the girl's POV, but a whole paragraph on "round 2" which repeats things we already read about in round one is just ego-salve for the reviewer and of little value to other customers.  The profile says whether MSOG is offered.  No need to repeat yourself.

You were one of the Mongers that I followed on reviews and what info could best be helpful in your posts about reviews.
I always like to include description & pic accuracy, social interplay, moves that are the girls own (like tongue to the corner of her mouth or a wicked sexy sleepy-eyed look) wit & playfulness and always humor (at least I think it's funny and hopefully the reader will too) to name a few.

 
One thing that gets to me is a 3 or 4-line review, misspelling & bad grammar and it gets likes, sometimes up to 5 or 6 and no real info!
Got to be friends giving the likes, at least that's what I think.

IMO, I think the accuracy and in-depth description, and I know it's not something everyone can do in-depth, is on the first reviewer!

 

If it's a memory problem and it's being written days or weeks later, that's where inaccuracies can happen.
They could start to write it that day in word or in an email draft and when it's finished, open the review page and copy and paste the write-up!

 
Or like CDL said, the 2nd, 3rd and so forth down the line reviewer, should correct the description and stats!

that was a wall of text, with one sentence flowing seamlessly into the next, nearly impossible to read.  I was surprised the mods got through and approved it.   Don't schools teach about paragraph breaks, punctuation and Capitalization anymore?  Some of the yutes of today are falling behind.  

I can get behind some responsibility to provide updates. One out of place reviewer mentioned bb'ing during a session where many, many others said strictly coverage. A week later when I saw her, she mentioned a reg who felt entitled and became salty when his advances were denied. He even flipped her off, which was so comically sad.

I think some of the most useful reviews add in their own numeric ratings within the text of the review.

 
This allows the reviewer to provide valuable info about their perceived (and relative) ratings for Face, Body, Service and Attitude. Add this to descriptive text (she was slim and small/fine boned with a flat stomach, for example) and the usefulness of the review significantly increases beyond the less granular, in my opinion, numeric ratings from the TER UI.
