I hope everyone gives some extra kindness and tips to the AMP/AAMP girls.  They have been through a lot.  No one deserves what happened in Atlanta.  Let’s make sure they feel the kindness and gratitude.

Just Googled Atlanta shootings and New York Times article popped up.  Apparently storefront AMP robbery gone wrong.  7 women killed and one man at three parlors in red light district of Atlanta.

Talk about wrong place, wrong time for the patron.

About two or three years ago, there were a few AAMP robberies in San Ho including LovelyAngels.  After that, at least three orgs come to mind that started stricter screening for new mongers.  It's a shame to say but I heard through the rumor mill that the robbers are of Latino ethnicity.

Kun Gumiho shared with me that she's been robbed at gunpoint at least twice in her lifetime.

I recall Haven was one of the victims.  Ah missinghavenitis is a known medical condition that afflicted me once upon a time in Wonderland...

The guy was targeting the places and the girls working there. However, he also claimed it was in no way racially motivated.

Downplaying the tragedy in GA as a "storefront AMP robbery gone wrong" when the suspect admitted to police he has a "sex addiction."  Per a former housemate - "had sought treatment for sex addiction and lived in a rehabilitation facility from late 2019 to early 2020," "would have a deep feeling of remorse and shame and say he needed to return to prayer and to return to God.” and was described by a former classmate as "super nice, super Christian"  Per the police spokesman "sees these locations as... a temptation for him that he wanted to eliminate.”

Also, you racist f*ck, he's clearly White, not Latino, as all of the perpetrators of mass shootings in the US seem to be.

chill out dude, twoon was literally just quoting an article about a story that is still developing, he didn't say it as a matter of fact.

it's a shit situation no doubt, but lay off, jeez.

Read the Times article?  No, I don't think you did...

You just wanted to attack me, you no good, fault finding, Mother FUCKER!!! Fuck off!!!

And your sentence construction needs improvement.  You shouldn't use ALL or NEVER.  Better to use most in that particular sentence.

You're welcome.

And I knew the Georgia shooter was a 21 year old white male.

I was commenting on the alleged ethnicity of the san Ho rebbers.  Duh!

I agree that this is a tragedy.  Those RAs went to work to pay their bills and make their way through this life we live.  And then this young man shows up...

Even robberies gone wrong are the same.  I feel for all concerned and didn't intend to make light of the dangers our beloved kgirls face daily besides smelly and rude customers.

Stuff like this makes me want to stop the world and get off.
The thought that somebody would injure and kill a tiny, defenseless young woman is something I can't process.

I try to stick to a low-information diet, but this, along with the recent wave of attacks on vulnerable Asian service workers and elders punctured my bubble.

I grew up in a violent shithole that was the US per-capita murder capital  (100 per 100,000, on par with a War Zone), so I'm not going to wax or whine about it ..

This type of stuff that has long-term fallout.  I don't often mention my hometown, but when I do, people go silent, then look for an excuse to get get away from me.   Another example; how many of you have thought about a trip to Brazil, which reputedly has the most off-the-hook P4P scene on the planet?  Then thought about the possibility for getting robbed/mugged/killed and said "nope".

The whole lovelyangels robbery was pretty bad. For reference, it traumatized both the two girls and the monger who was there with the other girl. The last thing you expect when you're going to fuck a kgirl is to end up at a gunpoint.

I do think one of the robbers was Italian, but maybe I'm misremembering. I'm bad with names. Both of their social media and personal info was found fast by org people and "insiders". Both of these assholes had prior arrests and I even think jail time.

and of course I thought about the possibility of getting robbed/mugged/killed in what was the murder capitol of the world, but I decided to simply be careful.

For the record I spent many of my formative years hanging out in Oakland. Wherever you grew up can't be a lot worse than Oakland lol I do use common sense when in dicey areas, but I don't let fear stop me from experiencing as much out of life as I can.

Brother Twoon, may I ask why it was a "shame" that they were Latino?

And you were more wrong than right.

Simply put, you blew it with your post and the right thing to do would be to simply apologize for getting it so fucking wrong and to move on.

BTW FH asked you a very valid question that you have failed to address, why is it a "shame" that the robbers in San Jose were Latino? Why is race even a factor in such a case?

Ok Sifu.  My initial post was wrong and I apologize to anyone who was offended.

Was it 2016 or 2017 when Trump called Mexicans rapists and murderers?  Anyway, the anti-Latino rhetoric of Trump was in the air around the time of the San Ho robberies and I'm of the opinion that Latinos have been BL by some orgs after the San Ho robberies.  There was a thread on the robberies back at ND.  If I'm wrong I'm wrong.  Not my biZ.

There was a thread back at ND on the robberies.  If I recall correctly, there was mention of the Latino ethnicity of one of the robbers and some orgs began to BL new mongers of Latino ethnicity after the San Ho robberies.  If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.  It is not my intent to badmouth mongers of Latino ethnicity.
