Here is a post from just a few hours ago.

The only posts related to the privacy clause in the past have been those that might compromise the privacy of a TER member, whether it be a hobbyist or a provider.  The anonymity of TER members to use only their username and not worry about having it linked to their real life identification is sacrosanct.  With that said, as you point out, the link posted by BPOS did not identify ANYONE in the article as having ANY connection to the sex industry, TER, or anything  illegal, so there was nothing in it to make it fall within the long-standing privacy policy that would prohibit it being linked to a post. There was no assertion in the article that the grandmother who died was, or ever had been, a Kgirl provider, nor that the father who died was, or ever had been, an org owner, booker, or pimp, so this link did not violate the TER policy in that it did not identify any individuals who were connected to the sex industry.  The article was about a family who lost some members to covid (there are other such articles on other TER boards) and could have just as easily been a family that lost a few members when a building collapsed.  It still would have nothing to do with the sex industry or TER and would be allowable under the posting rules for at least  the 12 years I have been here.  

From recent (past several years) experiences, I've noticed a few things.

You can't include the links. You CAN summarize  or even quote with names xxx-ed out about what happened and leave it to enterprising readers to google the news sources, if interested to do so.
