The Golden Age of Porn was from ~1969 - ~1984. There were scripted plots, professional scenery and costumes, professional cinematography, AND even some pretty good acting.

Scripted (plotted) porn does seem to still exist but the plots all seem to be pretty lame and are weak vehicles to get to the action.
The money from the payers is probably more related to the sex and gyno shots than to the storyline.
MAYBE ATTEND A LOCAL AVN CONVENTION? Talk to people there and make some connections. Check the Porn Star board for discussion of the recent and upcoming conventions. There is or just was a convention in New Jersey. There is convention activity in LV. Ask on the porn star board if there is anything coming to your area.
SUGGESTION: Pick the porn star you think should star in your movie and make sure that she provides (TER style). Arrange a (TER style) meeting with her and tell her that you will produce the movie if she agrees to star in it. Now you have TWO people trying to get your movie made.

I know everyone does this, but I have authored an erotic short story that I think is pretry good. But more importantly the people that have read it also think it's good. More than one person has suggested it would be a great adult video.
Has anyone done this that can offer advice or have thoughts on how to pitch this?
