I have responded to some ads by e-mail and get a reply that I have to go through a $1 fee verification process before they set something up. I have not done it but it seems like it might be a rip off. Has anyone paid this fee?

While it is a rip-off without question, what's a dollar???  Not much but when you pay with a credit card and they charge $1,001...now that is a REAL rip-off...run do not walk away from this request!!!

I have also encountered this $1.00 fee and am equally leary. The fine print also reads that at the end of your 'trial period' a monthly $39.95 will be charged thereafter. Damn the girl's cute but what can you do. Just a mod on the verify scam of a few months ago I beleive.
