My friend and me are touring Houston this month for the first time . Would be very grateful for your recommendations on the area to stay and may be even specific hotels . Now we are considering the Galleria area ? P.S . Are the shopping malls open already in Texas ?
I don't know your screening process but make sure it's air tight. Human trafficking is major here a gurl from Vegas was killer by her pimp a couple days ago in that area so n they mentioned hits other girls in upscale hotels over Houston. Just me very cautious n aware at all times. Dont bend your screening rules it can cost u. Safe travels.
The Westin Hotels in Galleria are good choices. There are two. Westin Oaks andWestin Galleria. Both should command the same rate. Westin Galleria is a little bit newer. Parkings are free and easy for us going to Galleria, instead of going to the hotels. Royal Sonesta on 610 is good as well, and close to Galleria. Avoid Hotel Derek, no parking.
There are Marriott hotels like courtyard, etc around, which shold serve your purpose.
