Houston traffic is challenging no matter where you are. As between the Heights and the Energy Corridor, I think the later is the least convenient of the two. You'll likely be better off in the Heights, IMHO.

Really? I have always heard that the Energy Corridor was a great and often overlooked area. Most girls, local and touring alike, prefer the Galleria area. But I would love to know of some other areas that may not get attention, as well... *curtsy*
The Energy Corridor is a nice area, but it's not centrally located. It's way out West. As between it and The Heights, I suspect The Heights is more convenient to more people but either area is fine.
