What area to stay in Jacksonville and Tampa???

Hi Everyone!!!!  I will be driving from Savannah GA and I was looking for an in between spot b/f Tampa so I was thinking Jacksonville.  What area is the best to stay in both?  Thank you in advance, CC

Tampa,

If you are coming for the RNC. good luck on finding a room.  Any other time, I would say anywhere near Tampa International Airport, there are lots of nice places to stay.

In Jax I like downtown off the San Marco exit. Several places there.

You can hop right back on 95 & be on your way.
