One of the biggest complaints we have heard about the message boards is the time it takes for a moderated user to get his or her post on the board. We were listening. No more waiting around for hours or even days for your posts to be approved. TER now has an in house message board support group 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to make sure your posts go up in less than 15 minutes!

seriously, should help out tremendously - I remember at the beginning of my TER stint, actually the first 4 years - I hardly posted at all cuz' of that problem - AND I didn't even know about being moderated.

It took me almost a year to become unmoderated even though I posted almost every day on the newbie board..With my new found freedom I moved to the General Discussion and you couldn't shut me up.

After all this time I am now on the Florida Board trying to make friends with my neighbors.
I should have done this first but didn't quite understand it wasn't necessary to post an ad to join in. Now I do !

For the individuals who are moderated, it seemed like a waste to try and participate...since their post sometimes didn't appear until the next day. By then, the conversation is over!

We should see a lot more participation and activity on the boards now. Kudos to you! Now if we could just get that edit option back....

Seriously, this is great.  For an occasional poster like me it was very frustrating to post and not see your message for a day or two, if at all.  And I didn't understand why.  Thanks again and I will definitely be more active.

This is a true blessing! Just makes it easier on posting regularly....Thank You!!!

This will really help some people who have gotten discouraged about posting due to the time it took to get their posts on the forum.

And as someone else mentioned, this should pep up the discussions as infrequent posters will post more often rather than just read and lurk.
