I was in a bad car accident late last year and its been a long recovery but i am now back on my feet and would like to rejoin the hobby. I had a date set up with a lady but she told me she could not see me because i haven't seen anyone in a while and don't have any current references in the last 6 months. I understand her point of view and everyone need to be carefull but how can a guy get references if no one will see them with out current references

Finding a newbie friendly provider is not easy tried doing a search and can't seem to find any or maybe i am not looking in the right place
