I'm in the web business...and everything she says is absolutely true. I've spent 6 figures in the past to find this out. Now if I'd only known Val...I could have saved a ton!!

Just sayin'

As long as the add takes viewers back to the real providers website..It is legitamate and free advertising for us...There are many websites that do this...This perticular website has actually done a good job..On my web statistics page it shows about 45 views a day average with no popups coming from the site you point out..I give it a thumbs up

Found out the hosting for it is GoDaddy...I've already emailed GoDaddy legal department because this website violates their rules, NOT because it's an escort site, but because it IS using unauthorized images & infringing on copyrights straight up...my lawyer said it could fall under "false light" as well.

How are they making any money?...There are no banner ads for viagra or whatever like on most adult sites, and we/the client's obviously aren't paying em...Shady.

We are not lawyers lets be careful here..Internet rules are being sort out in courts everyday now..

Everything we put on the public internet is public domain till we can prove otherwise..Are you willing to go to court over this..Keep a low profile we are always on the moral losing end...If your photos and info are being used to promote you properly..let it be ..you cant be in this business half way..this is not a part time job..if you think it is trouble is around the corner..Alot of woman on this board have been fired or divorced because they only went in half way...

The site is a copy of public advertisements already in public domain...The adds are advertisements of us our phone numbers and websites..If you google our names you can find hundreds maybe thousands of comments reviews and links leading back to our our websites ...I dont know but lets say you had a pet store and you could only afford to advertise in the pennysaver...But another newspaper took your exact approved add and ran it for free that would be a plus...clients review us on many different websites not always with our permission ...the internet is public domain..so are our photos if they a used to represent us...

Legal imput should only be inserted directly by a real lawyer ..please

As far as lawyers go..Do yourself a favor..dont waste his/her time on this crap ..He might have to help you out at 2AM one day..

Love

Val

What if you decide to retire today, take down all your ads and disappear?  That is your right, but NOT in this instance.  You don't have access to your content and where it is used and that is illegal and wrong.

Ladies have a right to decide when and where their content will be used and more imprtantly, IF their pictures and ads should be up on the web. If your escort life found it's way into your private life and you had to disappear fast, you couldn't in this case.

I have no dog in this fight, (my escort ads all disappeared a long time ago, LOL).  But I am sensitive to this and I am going to help the ladies who want to be helped.

Putting the hosting site on notice makes them liable for the content.  A simple letter to the hosting company (GoDaddy) should make this go away.  See attached article

The more of you that email GoDaddy, the better.  Include the URL of the site and your specific ad and send it from your work email address.

Sorry this had to happen.  Thanks to Makenzie Rae and Kara for the research on GoDaddy and Tayler for bringing it to my attention.

GoDaddy does not host this site.
It takes a tad more than checking the whois info.
GoDaddy registered the name...that's all.
