Of course comparisons are done and things are talked about...but very rarely in public. You aren't comparing restaurants. There's people involved and they have feelings....like it or not.
If it means SO much to you...then take the time to do YOUR research. Look at reviews and see if any names have seen both. Then reach out to them via PM.
