A buddy of mine asked a hot waitress at one of the two well-known wing places if her carpet matched the drapes.  Her reply was, 'no carpet, hardwood floor'.  Have to admit, that's a new one on me.

Interested to know if anyone has ever heard that before.

Most waitresses I know wouldn't get the carpet and drape reference.

And here I thought I had made that one up when asked about my girlfriend Eve! I've been saying that about her for a few years now.

For all I know, you did make it up.  I have no idea where this waitress who said it is from or where she picked up the phrase.

Swim,   I actually heard that from a civillian lady about 10 years ago in response to a question about wether the carpet matched the drapes.

Once had a discussion with a group of friends.. the discussion was about women's butt hair, but it also wound up into the discussion of a "landing strip"..

One ladies' reply.. "No landing strip..just...Tarmac"
