Hi all!  

I'm hoping someone could help me out with a conundrum I'm facing. I'm not from the US; so any input would really really help me out.  

So, I was in Miami a couple of days ago for a friend's bachelor party. As is the norm, we ended up at a strip club. This strip club is relatively new I think, and is more like a club with a strip club. I do know the name of the place but I'm trying to avoid giving names out at this point.  

Long story short, I get a lap dance from a pretty young thing; and she seemed way into it. At the end, she told me that she'd really like to continue the party back at our hotel. I would have gone ahead with it there and then, except my bank had blocked my cards on account of suspicious activity (a strip club would do that I guess). We end up exchanging numbers and I mention in brief that I'll be visiting LA at the end of July. She seemed really eager to meet up; and we've agreed that we would meet in LA at the end of July. We have agreed on compensation, but I have to say that is on the extremely low side of the scale (considering that we would be spending 5 days together).  

I am a realistic person: I'm slightly overweight and this girl was a solid 8. Am I being played? Has anyone experienced this sort of thing before? Will I be completely ripped off? She's been calling me king and how she knew I was different and how she doesn't have a bf and all that shit, but I know that that's probably a play to lure me into getting shafted.  

I have to apologise for the naivety of this message: this sort of thing has never really happened before. I'm more used to a standard transaction with escorts.

Take a deep breath, relax and thank the heavens you card was blocked.    

It's her 'business' - not her 'pleasure'.

Stay out of 'clubs' and look for valued providers on this forum.

I hope you did not leave a downpayment..

compensation already- are you expected to pay that up front before the meeting? Are you expected to fly her to LA? Have you dated ladies like her (solid 8) before? Also, where are you from? Many of us ladies swoon over certain accents. If you're going to be in LA anyway, and you're not expected to pay the full amount up front, I don't see that it can hurt to take a chance. Just be clear in communications about who is paying for her flight and accommodations, etc.

a lady. Specifically, spend a hour or two with her before seeing her for a multi-hour dinner date. If that goes well, then you might want to consider an overnight, etc.  

Not sure if going from a few lap dances to a 5 day trip together is in your best interests. I would be very very cautious about advancing her any money. Otherwise you may be out some serious cash.

If she is already going to be in LA fine. If not, as others have said, what are the arrangements for her flight (you pay but who is making the arrangements?)?  First class or coach? Can you use FF miles for her ticket? ETC.

If I was in that situation, I would pass, simply because there are so many outstanding, well reviewed ladies on P411 and TER. It seems that you already know the answer to your question, but this girl got inside your head with some of her comments and the vision of 5 days in heaven. I hate to say it because I don't want to rain on your parade, but chances are that you will be disappointed.

Thank you all so much for the invaluable advice, it is very, very much appreciated. In all honesty it was either 5 days with her or a selection of ladies while I'm in LA. I haven't made any payments to her; and though I did book her flight it was one that could be cancelled, so there's that.

Why not split it up? See her for two or three days, and if it is going well, continue. But if you'd prefer to see others, maybe reserve your last two or three days for that. But let her know in advance that you might not have her for the whole 5 days, so she can make other plans.

I'm not as skeptical (or sceptical if you're British) as the others because I was once a stripper, and have embarked on such adventures with fun strangers before. If you shared chemistry and were equally enamored with each other, there's nothing unusual about such an arrangement.
