3 more days, for one of the most beautiful holydays ever.This day no matter of what religion you are,  is just the perfect excuse to spend time with people you love and care.  It doesn't matter if you will be with a big group of people or just by yoursef, I recomend you to cook something you love, enjoy it , have a drink ......and be Thankful to be alive and be healthy.     to all of you ter !! happy thanksgiving!!  cheers!!   G.

I am new to the FL board but hope to get to know many of you better.  

One thing we do each year is seek out at least one but as many people who may be alone as we possibly can to invite for dinner on Thanksgiving Day. There are many out there who will be alone for the holiday for one reason or another (just moved, traveling for work, divorced, etc) and they needn't be.  

Happy Thanksgiving to all you beautiful people down there in FL!!! Hope you are enjoying your weather ... It's been snowing a bit and in the teens this week here in MN brrr.

   On a more serious note, your post is spot on.  Many of us assume that people have a place to be on Thanksgiving, when in reality they do not.  Let's not forget about those that need a friend, or an ear.

   I am a baker, and my friends and gentlemen callers are already asking how soon my breads and cookies will be ready.  I love Thanksgiving!

   I look forward to seeing many of you at Christmas.  Until then............
