It has been a long time since I participated on this board. Many reasons, not to be brought up now. Last night I did sometime I have never done before in my hobbying, I turned around and walked out on a date. So many things wrong, just the best thing to do.
My question, has this happened to you or have you done this yourself?

have not needed to do that, but it happens.  Sounds to me like you didn't do the proper research on the provider you went to see.  Research is the key for us guys, just as screening is for the gals.

I don't know what happened in your case but if more guys walked out on bait and switches, up sells or questionable situations the scammers would have a much harder time.

i have never had to do that. but i do some research before i see a lady. i did have a date with one that had decent reviews dont think it was nothing on her part we just didnt click..

better to walk out then to waste your money..

research very carefully, so I rarely get the type of shocking surprises that would cause me to walk away.  With me, it's more subtle....  Either we're a bad fit, that 15 lbs and 8 years I usually allow for in pictures is really 25 and 15, or she's an unusually bad actress. Not enough to walk out but enough so I don't return

I do feel you did the right thing though. For those that do bait and switch
or who even have really old photos, should not be given the satisfaction
of following through on a date.  To me this is very false advertising
and just irritates me to know end!! There is just no excuse for not  
getting updated/current photos or for the bait and switch behavior!!

Bait and switch. Older sister answered phone and then younger sister is the date, with dad in the background. Very poor selection on my part and I do know better. Just a lack of better judgement on a long Sunday night.  
I just said this is not a good situation, sorry but I am leaving.
