All I am going to say to this is there are two sides to every story.

For those of you that "really" know me, know that this is not like me AT ALL!

Was in Orlando last week for a convention.
I've had a lot of no shows in the last couple of years in the Orlando/Tampa area so I wanted to pick somebody who posted here (Sindie), someone you guys liked and had a lot of reviews so it's a real puzzle why this happened yet again, maybe she just had a bad day. (Been reading TER for 8+ years so not a noobie, just don't post much)

I filled out her form, she wrote back that night saying what a sweat guy I was and everything was confirmed for 4pm the next day, I saw the e-mail the next morning and called and got no answer so I left a message saying everything was set for 4pm, I called a couple more times and got no answer, as a last resort I sent her a text and I got one right back with "I won't be able to see you"
What I'm most upset about is the rudeness..
... I never got a single "Sorry", no "Let's do it later", no "Maybe tomorrow", it was still only 2pm so she still had plenty of time to get ready and come to my Hotel, I'm thinking something else was going on like she had a call from a regular or something like that? I don't know what else I could of done? Even if she thinks I did something wrong a "Sorry" or some kind of apology would've been nice :(

I told her the day before I was changing rooms at the Hilton, I went into a suite which was an extra $200.00 as I wanted a good time, I also got a nice bottle of wine and some gifts at Victoria secrets, all in all it cost me over $300 in extra's and all I got was nothing. She lost $400.00+ and potentially thousands as I was looking to see somebody on a regularly basis. Everybody's complaining how slow business is so not sure why this happened. I also missed out on most of the day at the convention as I was getting everything ready.

I really am a nice guy, always tip well and pick the best hotels so not sure why I've had such bad luck lately :(

She's in the business of pleasure and all I got was a lose of a lot of money, rudeness and a big disappointment.  I don't think I'll be calling again, I can't go through all that disappointment and cost again.

To clarify, I probably wouldn't be witting this if I had gotten a single "Sorry" - She just can't treat people like this!  :(

....the better the chance she'll be a no-show. A couple times I've gone to Miami, got an expensive room in SoBe, got wine and snacks and then ended up rushing around at the last minute when the lady I went to see bailed out on me.....

......I hate when it happens and I will never re-book with anyone who leaves me hangin'.

The way your post reads, "the more you prepare, the better chance she'll be a no-show" could be construed that you're talking about her, but I'm guessing, based on her stellar reputation, you're not.

Hope I'm right.

I'm sure you're a nice lady but you did cost me a lot of money/hassle and I'm yet to receive any kind of apology!! I just don't know how you go from calling me such a sweat guy and confirming for 4pm the next day to completely ignorning me and not saying sorry?

Yes there is always 2 sides to a story but until I hear the other side I will not be seeing Sinde because a no show is not a good thing if she did it to one person she will not hesitate to do it to anyone, This is only one person to report her how many time has she really done no show and not to call is so wrong of her

Threads like this make it almost worthwhile navigating the new format. Keep it coming!

Jason really, really?? Let's be fair here...

Do you honestly think it is appropriate to call me a no show?

Why don't we go back and discuss what really happen.

Did I not send you an email the evening before telling you that 4 was good for me?  Yes I did.

Wouldn't it be common courtesy to let me know that we were confirmed?  Yes it is.

Should I have assumed that by your non response that we were scheduled to meet? I believe not.

If you would have taken the time and confirmed with me that we were going to meet (in advance) as planned instead of right before...I would have been there.

A gentleman would have confirmed, a gentleman would take responsibilities for his own actions and  a gentleman would never intentionally disrespect a lady.

Therefore Jason...this bash at me was totally uncalled for.

Why did she call you a sweat guy? Do you tend to wear sweaters and sweat shirts? Have a sweating problem? I don't know.

Now that's funny right there...I don't care who you are....that's funny....

If you didn't confirm the date then what do you expect? I understand the lady's POV now.

She is not going to be coming after you repeatedly to see if you will confirm. These ladies lead a busy life/business and to expect for her to hound you about a confirmation is ridiculous.

That is ALL on you, bub. Sorry but sounds like you fucked up.

Not trying to be a "white knight" but perhaps someting like an emergency may have come up.  I'm sure you'll hear back from her, she's really sweet.

These things always seem to boil down to communications.   Sindie's excellent reviews and reputation lead me to believe that this was a mistake.  I have never heard of her doing anything like this before.

So we all learned that communications is the key.

Spot on comment, why don't the two of you actually talk about the circumstances and see if you can reconcile the issues and work them out.

but shouldn't this have been something you would have tried to work out with her privately before going on an open-discussion board? Just asking.

however there are 2 sides to every story and this is the first time I have heard this provider being a NCNS. Obviously something about this situation needs further explanation, otherwise its a he said, she said thing and those that have seen sindie are going to side with her, those that have been NCNS by other provider wil stick with the poster, and those that have never seen sindie or had the problem of a NCNS situation will be cautious when contacting the provider.

Thats the lesson for the day.

OK of course I meant "sweet" guy, not sweat guy LOL, bad time for a typo I see

And I think for the most part we agree on what happened here, she did e-mail me late that night and as soon as I saw the e-mail in the morning I called and confirmed the time, this was over 6 hours before the scheduled time, I repeat 6 hours, I then called a couple more times on the hour.
When she said "I can't see you" (with no "Sorry" in front) it was still between 2 to 3 hours before the scheduled time, so the questions are still there, why did she say that with still hours to go?
she also could of said "let's do it later" or "tomorrow"

 So to answer Sindie's questions..
--- YES I did confirm a full 6 hours before and every hour after. Sindie was the one with the no response, not me, there's nothing else I could've done.
--- Even going by her story she knew hours before, the date was confirmed so why still say no? I mean if I called just out of the blue a lady and asked if they could come over right away I'm sure they'd be there in about an hour, going by Sindie's side of the story she canceled 3 hours before the date even though I was checked out. It just doesn't add up
---  Yes I am a Gentleman, I don't think I've been nasty in any of my posts,  Sindie ignoring me all day cost me over $300.00 and a day missed at the convention so I think I have a right to be a little upset, I don't think that is uncalled for.
Let's just move along, not much else to say, I've already had a few e-mails from some lovely ladies here saying they would love to see me next time I'm in town.     I will just have to make sure everything's confirmed a couple of weeks before the time so I don't get disappointed again.

appears to be a communication difficulty-Sindie is one of the sweetest and most professional I've met in the hobby-If you didn't confirm the appointment, I can't blame her at all-I don't ever think she would no show if something was set-I never set a date until I get a confirming message from the provider and always contact them the day before-I've only had one problem and the no show more than made up for it the next day, when I contacted her about it-Communication is the key, IMHO-Hope this helps-1rob
