There are plenty of legit providers advertising on backpage who have never been busted.

I keep telling all the ladies I know ,to screen,no take cell phones  appoinments untill passing screening verification..cannot verifycell phone  or can be  a throwaway phone. Safety first .All girls need to unite & screen.I post on Backpage sometime & ask for references & most guys don't know what I'm talking about.Ladies stop being a victim of LE or Psychos.If no screening you will be found by one or both.

It makes no difference where you advertise, since screening is one of the most important tools for both ladies and gents in the hobby.  Election year, season, etc... Never let your guard down.  If it does not feel right, never go against your instincts.

This means both providers and clients. Everyone be careful out there!

You don't think le reads ter adds profiles reviews adds on eros and city vibe then your being naïve. The only sure way to verify someone is a reference from a reputable provider

How did YOU get your FIRST reference?

about references.  So many hobbyists are against giving personal data to providers, as they should be, how does the provider giving the reference know what hobbyist is being asked about.  Or if the provider has never had a problem with any hobbyist, just answer ok even if they don't know for certain who is being inquired about?

...most ladies know their clients. We have a name and a phone number. A lot of the hobbyists are regulars, meaning they see the same lady more than just one or two times.  Speaking for myself, and most ladies, we know the gentlemen we see.  Their likes, dislikes, habits, etc.  The ladies work together on this because safety is paramount. We are a close community.

If another lady calls me and asks for information about "Bob, 786-xxx-1234", then typically I know who she is talking about. First, I establish that she in fact is who she says she is by looking at her site and her reviews and the number she is calling me from. Then, I tell her about Bob. Plain and simple. It if fool-proof? Nothing is... Does it help? Absolutely. I will not meet anyone new unless they have 1 or 2 references with whom I actually speak.

If, as you suggest, a provider doesn't know who is being referred to, I simply tell the provider, " I am sorry, that name does not ring a bell off of the top of my head, could you please have him call me to refresh my memory". Yes, I feel bad/embarrassed sometimes if I do not remember someone, but it is better then have another provider get harmed or in trouble by lying and saying "Yah, he's fine". In fact, if I get a response like that, I will follow up with a second provider to obtain more details.

I once had a lady call about a gentlemen who used my name as a reference. I never saw him. He never called to talk to me, and she was so grateful and thankful that I was honest.

It is so imperative to me, and I know I speak for most ladies, to get at least one or two references from reliable ladies and contact them. It's amazing the information you can gain beforehand.

I could care less if you don’t screen, it’s your life & safety that you compromise. On the other hand I do care that you POST on TER that YOU DO NOT SCREEN! You are a Danger to our Hobby Community by POSTING this Publically on a fuck board (TER) that deals with criminal activity. Ummmm, Wildthing, the Hobby is Illegal, & being a provider is Illegal. LE reads this board. By posting your nonsense, LE, can set up a phony username & contact you, or just email or call you for a date since you don’t screen…he shows up to your place and bust your ass & takes you to jail. Then your scared shitless, they strike a deal with you, you don’t go to jail, but……now you set up a Sting for LE, they tip off the news, you get 3 or 4 hobbyist busted…it makes the nightly news on sweeps week & the cops are shown to be saving the city/county & earning it’s trust and money…..this is why I and other Hobbyist care about you POSTING about this on a Public Forum. You could also sting other Providers with LE as well with this irresponsible behavior of yours.

Stop it! Stop posting your nonsense on TER about not screening or asking for references. Are you that desperate for work that you have to broadcast this on TER?

Could you please just STFU about  posting  this on a public forum like TER, you can handle this in your own personnel PM’s, emails, & phone conservation to your own hearts content. Don’t “Advertise” on TER with your posts….because that is exactly what you are doing. Use Back Page for your irresponsible & dangerous announcements that you don’t screen…that venue is more worthy of you.
