I thought I'd pass this link along. I haven't used this program but, apparently the website publishes updated virus definitions regularly (at least once a month). FYI, antivirus software is not very useful if you don't regularly update the virus definitions.
AVG is probably the most popular of the free antivirus software out there. they're pretty quick with updates, although even once a month is not enough these days.
Still....free is free, and this is the best of the free.
