This is from the Tampa news tonight, Monday, January 31 ... click the link and then click on the "Hotel Attack" story. It'll open a small window and show the broadcast as it appeared on the 6:00 news. It's brief, maybe two or three minutes before going into the Carlie story.

This lawyer for the state of FL called some escort service, two girls showed up instead of one, he went down to get more money (thinking with the little head) ... shortly after his return to the room, a guy knocked on the door, this lawyer opened the door, he was sprayed with pepper spray, beaten and robbed for $500 cash. He was hospitalized with a skull fracture, but is doing OK considering. Not sure if he'll get to keep his job yet or not.

Not known which escort service was called, because in the Tampa phone book there are like five pages of listings ... but if and when they release the name of the agency I'll post a follow up. Of course they'll have to find out which one it was too. I cannot find a link to a written article, sorry, so this news clip is all I can provide.

This is just another reason to do a little homework and stay away from the agencies in Tampa. They are known and repeatedly shown to be rip-offs. Plenty of quality indy ladies in and around the Bay area, and Orlando too.

Thanks Jimbo. Read the story this am. It will be interesting to find out what service it was. Beware all! I think this might put pressure on the independents as well. As far as this guy keeping his job......NO WAY. He's looking now. Charlie Crist is running for Gov. So this guy is out.

I suspect that LE will be heavy for a while as a crackdown because of this.

Just be careful in where you go, and who you see.

Screen, screen, screen.

I don't wish to see any of you ladies end up in trouble.

And let's hope that LE can get those responsible off the street.

Hopefully they will find out who did this so it doesn't happen to anyone else!!! The story wasn't clear, though, whether the girls stayed in the room while he went to the ATM and if the gentleman who knocked on the door was in fact associated with the girls??? If he WAS, it is sad to think that they have to resort to these tactics to get money and I have to wonder if they do this to every client or if they were just offended that he tried to "hire" 2 girls for $200 and took it out on him? That is pretty insulting, but I in NO WAY am trying to imply that their actions were justified (they should have just turned around and left or completed the session after he had all the money and if they were upset he took a little more of their time to go to the ATM, maybe knock a few minutes off the session, not resort to barbaric tactics), just that hopefully this was an isolated incident and that they do not make a practice of "serial attacking/robbing" with every client which would be even more scary than this story already is!!!

From everything I've read and heard, this called and asked for an escort as in one not two ... (stupid number 1 not doing some research) considering his public status as Asst. Atty. General ... two girls showed up (flag number one) and said to party you need more $$$

He goes to get it (stupid number 2) and the girls stay behind (flag number 2.)

Once he returns to his room a well dressed man knocks on the door (flag number 3) and he opens it (stupid number 3)

Not saying this was all OK ... but man when you're that stupid what do you expect?

I also feel the two girls and the guy, who if isn't associated with them will be a miracle ... did this on their own accord without the agency knowing. Three desperate people, giving depserate people a bad name.

FYI on this one...it's Tampa Escorts (also known as Tampa Companions or Pink Companions or Orlando Companions).  A former employee of theirs (someone personally known to me) was subsequently questioned by TPD following this attack.  Unfortunately, it is the agencies MO and not just three desperate individuals.  They bank on the probability that most clients are not willing to contact the police and also on inexpereinced visiting clientele who will just write it off and go home (never to venture to try the hobby again).  It gives the entire industry a bad name and makes it difficult for us all.  Despite the client's naivity and stupidity it certainly isn't necessary to earn your money unethically and with blatant disregard to other human beings regardless of the situation.
