I met someone for cocktails Friday evening and thought I was meeting them for a "date". When I arrived, they told me they could get "it" anytime they pleased but wanted someone to model shoes and latex for him but not compensate me at my full rate. I was so thrown off balance by this blatant disrespect of my time that I mentally checked out in the middle of appetizers and physically checked out moments later after asking him to get the check and my valet tab. I don't mean to be disrespectful but does that really work? I mean it seems to me like the rule you are laying down is that the guy has to play it straight first and after that maybe you will consider the kinky stuff he really wants to do. I think that describes a lot of guy's marriages.

I think you were right to leave. If the guy wanted something not listed or mentioned before and was trying to lowball you he should have discussed it before and mentioned that the "date" was to be "off the clock" or something similar.
