i guess i knoe what my next book will be.. i have read several books over the last few yrs about the war in iraq and afan. got some close friends who have fought in both..
also read some books about WWII. read one about the German view of normady battle. alot of lives lost.. thanks for the post paloma
I just finished Dan Jenkins ( sports specialist on Golf & Football ) called " His Ownself ". Great book ! Also for young entrepreneurs ,of course like Paloma, There is a fabulous new book by Miki Agrawal called - " Do Cool Sh*t " it is also great !
Reading Prince of fire at the moment. I know someone else mentioned Ayn Rand - Atlas is one of the greats. Will add Nelson DeMille - The Gold Coast then the follow-up Lions Gate-superb, maybe my favorite fiction of all. One more Ken Follett- Pillars of the Earth probably my favorite. Cheers
Actually, my regular job has been taking me on the road a bit more than usual. That said, I've recently started enjoying Audible (audio book application.) I'ts excellent for keeping my focus while driving. Yes, we ladies certainly can multitask quite well!

I love to read as well. I was recently given as a gift Erotic Capital: The Power of Attraction in the Boardroom and the Bedroom by Catherine Hakim, and I've just read the intro, but it looks great! I'm also reading They Came Before Columbus by Ivan van Sertima- I'm fascinated by African history. My fiction book right now is Foundation by Isaac Asimov.
I get precious little time to read these days, so these will keep me busy well into the fall.
I agree... Unbroken is a spectacular book and what makes it even better is knowing it's true. Growing up in the USMC, I had a difficult time with the POW phase just prior to and immediately after WWII. Anyway... Great read about a GREAT man who just passed (7/2) at 97.
I also, like player2, really enjoy all Nelson DeMille books and think everyone here would enjoy The Gold Coast... Funny as hell with sexy overtones. I'm also a fan of all the WEB Griffin military, fact based fiction books. If you want to know what it's like to be in the service, this guy takes you there!
