Ok, I'll try and keep it short (sorry it's not too sweet), my "best friend" & wife of 16yrs and friends for over 20yrs hooked up on FB with an ole boyfriend and bailed.

So here I am as a newbie, why cause I'm not even close to wanting to jump into the dating scene "YUCK", I have too many "single friends" & I hear their horror stories, besides I've always "kinda had a fantasy" of the idea of a provider kinda relationship and he'll if there's ever been a time for it that time is now.

I'm in Brevard County, I'm VERY gainfully employeed, 6'3' @ 205 & no slob but checking out the local sites like Backpage, I've read so many damn horror stories of ripoffs and lies, what's a newbie to do?

I throw myself on the mercy of the forum and please some suggestions from the beautiful women here, what's a recently single newbie to do?

Check TER Reviews Miami,.  You will find happy, kind thoughtful, thoroughc hecking for verification, etc. Oh yes, intellegent, hood conversationalist,beautiful, skillful, fun, humouous ladies, etc.

If you're going to use sites like BP, then make sure you do your research. Use the TER search engine by provider's name and/or number or even try Google.

Being that you're probably only about an hour from Orlando, I would just use TER to search by city. You will find hundreds of ladies with good reviews in your area. Just fully read the reviews and use the links to the providers' ads or personal websites until you find some that interest you.

Personally, I would try to arrange a meeting with one of the many, VERY HIGHLY reviewed, upscale ladies in the Orlando area. You will lack provider references, so be prepared to provide some detailed employment information and contact her well in advance of your desired meeting date so she has time to verify your information. Be thorough, honest, and patient. Treat her with respect and discretion during all forms of communication. Safety is paramount. Once, you have met one of these ladies, join one of the verifying websites (I don't know if I can name them here but you can even be verified by your employment info alone) and have them vouch for you. Many of these ladies communicate with each other, and once you have some reputable provider references the sky is the limit.

Also, while there are sure to be some true gems out there on sites like BP, you will find that like most things in life, you get what you pay for.

First, sorry to hear about your troubles. You sound like a smart guy that has done some homework. You received some good advice and now it's time to follow your big head. Don't even think about taking any chances with a lady that is not well reviewed. I look at it this way; the worst case scenario with a well reviewed TER girl is you are a little disappointed with her appearance. Maybe she's a little older, heavier, or not as gorgeous as you expected. Regardless, she will be clean, fresh, sweet and respectful of you and herself. She will make you feel like a king during your appointment, and suck and fuck you until you can't go anymore. Not such a bad downside. I can live with this worst case scenario.
If you take your chances on a BP girl (little to no reviews), your wost case scenario could be getting ripped off or worse...LE. Smart guys that think with their big head don't like to take these chances. If I want to gamble, I go to a casino. If I want to see a beautiful girl, I do my homework using this website.

It's a mere pittance, and will pay off in more ways than you can imagine. The best advice and help I ever got came through PMs from experienced guys who didn't want to post all their stuff on the board.

Second....ignore Backpage NOW. Don't go there. Don't get curious and peek. Just don't go anywhere near it. There's nothing there of any value if you're looking on the spacecoast section.

Since you live in Brevard (as I do) just resolve yourself to the fact that you'll find NOTHING there. Get used to 528 west and 95 south. You'll be driving quite a bit and if you do your research, it will be worth it completely.
Your main areas are Orlando, Tampa, and West Palm or Lauderdale.
Orlando is 1.5 hours, Tampa 2.5, and Lauderdale 3.
Once in a while you can establish a relationship with a lady who will drive to your area....but that's based on several factors and not something you need to think about now.

What you need to do now is research. Spend some time on this board and the newbie board. Read. Learn. Determine what's important to you and what you would like out of a meeting. No matter what it is....there's someone who can make it come true.

Understand that, while you are excited now, it's going to take about a year for you to get a real handle on this thing. It's the same for everyone.

One thing you might want to do is reel in the announcements of how well you are doing. It's great, and everyone is happy for you, but it can bite you in the butt before you know it.
49 out of 50 gals you meet will be cool regardless of anything....but it's that one left that will target you and milk you like a bloated cow in the morning. I learned early on that sometimes a rolex is just a watch....and sometimes it's a target. Just use the big head...lol.

This is a new thing for you, just like it was at one time for everyone here. Try to manage the initial excitement and balance it with rational thinking....and you'll have the time of your life.

reference above is far more beneficial.  Agree, there are many quality ladies in the Orlando area for all price points as well as various ages and body types.  Do a search (VIP helps) for your preferences.

Can I as a "newbie vote for Dirty.Daego" as the "helper of the year", I think I have 3 replies and NO reviews but if you could copy what you posted to me and paste that to every "newbie" like me who shows up on the board not only would you serve the scared, nervous and apprahensive "newbie" who maybe makes his way thru, but you would do such a service the to WONDERFUL and BEAUTFUL ladies here, I've had contact with a few and even if we weren't a match for me/us they have been sweet & honest. It all begins with respect and there are some of "words of wisdom" and If us "newbies" followed it it would benefit everyone, thanks Dirty.Daego for sharing.

DD gave good advice, I would add the following:

Get a prepaid phone and avoid your personal numbers.
Consider a program that will "scrub" visited websites from your computer, does not hide all tracks, but helpful.
In 8 years, I have never encountered LE, but prepare yourself to respond to the situation.
I have never had an STD, but I do have a confidential testing center I go to regularly.
Don't allow yourself to be in a pissing match with a provider life is too short and downside potential is large...
Consider a verification service (e.g. RS2K, P411, etc.) so less of your personal information is floating around.
I personally only see independents.  Name is less likely to appear on a "list" if an agency gets taken down (Miami Companions, Desert Divas, etc.)

Get VIP and do your research. There are a lot of great ladies here. Read the reviews and find the ones that you offer what you are looking for. Enjoy!
