Thank goodness for TER.  Information is what it's all about.  We all "click" "agree" before entering regarding all that is written here is fictitious....right.....?  So, I hope this post is posted.  I feel I have an obligation here to my fellow hobby-ists and providers in So. FLA.

Went to the doctor today to my surprise he said "positive".  I got a shot and 10 day meds.  Not life threatening....whew...but I'm done.  Not my place to say who or where since I don't know for sure.  Contacted the agencies in question about providers I have seen.  The one I spoke to personally said, that's between you and the provider...WTF???!!! I dont have her number!  I thought they'd want to know.  I think you would want to know but I could be wrong there too.  I've emailed them, the providers that I've seen in the past month in hopes that they would at least suggest to the providers to get tested.  The domino effect could be staggering if they don't know since females can be carriers without symptoms.  Don't know what else to do.

It happened here in So Fla, and I did narrow it down to the 5 or 6 providers that I saw.  Problem now is that they (she) has seen who knows how many others and is indeed spreading this around.  The domino effect could be staggering.  And yet it will go on tomorrow ....and the next...

...and part of why it will keep going is because there are no reviews posted under the handle "imkinkytoo". I'm assuming it's an alias, so this isn't much help to either hobbyists or providers in having themselves checked or avoiding the potentially afflicted. Understandably you don't want to harm anyone's business or reputation, and there's possibly some TER rule against being more specific, but dropping this bomb without supporting info just creates panic. If I'm wrong about your handle being an alias, or if my view is out of line, I'll just have to suffer the backlash.

What are you referring to when you say you tested positive?  I'm assuming it's not HIV since you said it wasn't life threatening and you said they gave you a shot and ten days meds.  Are you talking about gonorrhea?

I agree with longhairngotee. If this is indeed the case then I would like to be able to PM you to, at the very least, get more details to better protect myself against the agency and providers in question. Since you are using an alias, this is not possible (unless I am mistaken).

I do understand outing said agency/provider is in poor form especially if you are still unsure who the culprit is. But I believe this forum and site is essential in attaining information for the safety of our providers as well as hobbyists. So the more information provided the better and perhaps this warning with further detail would serve the person to get the issue remedied, not just for our sakes but for her own.  

In summary this hobby is not without its many risks, but this site and its community members are key to minimizing them. my 2 cents.
