i thinks to be a mod, takes a lot of work and its not easy at all. I love DD....and i dont have the plesuure to met new mod......but i think it should be 2 people 2 handle. so iits easy for them to control everything.....just my 2 cents......

+ The Florida board spins like a top, and the level of drama here is a fraction of other regional boards.  

+ Lively chatter, lively pics, and lively information is shared back and forth.

+ Within a day of DD's "disappearance", several posts were put up that either wouldn't have seen the light of day, or would have been re-phrased to some level of respectfulness.

+ DD stepped in when necessary, didn't bullshit, and stayed out of it unless called for.

+ In less than a week, participation has already dwindled.

Board admin, while probably doing their best, have no idea what's hot and what's not in Florida.

Florida board folks: chime in here WITH YOUR REAL HANDLES (not aliases) with the reasons DD should be brought back.  Like he always said, it's YOUR board.  Make yourselves heard.

I dont get on this board much anymore and there is a reason. NOT MUCH FUN NOWDAYS.
Not much fun watching the inmates run the asylum. Seems like the 2% that want to run the board without having the headache of being Mod is campaigning to get rid of Mods that dont let the have thier way. the other 98% were satisfied with what they had. just wondering if that 98% count?

The florida board do not want another Mod. DirtyDaego was just find.

This board is the most pleasant board on this website. I travel often and many clients always tell me how they enjoy reading the Florida board because it is lively and no DRAMA!!

There are so many cities that you go on and read the board and I think to myself.....I am never visiting there. I would hate to be greeted or treated by the men especially if they can't even have kind etiquette on a freaking discussion board.

We have had recent postings that are drama and childish. These are put up by people who obviously don't have anything better else to do with their time and quite frankly I think they need to get laid. DD is a great mod who didn't sugar coat stuff and basically cut out all the drama and sissy's on this board. The tone of our board has been so delightful.....now it is pathetic. This board is all about the people who make it and I can honestly say if it stays in the direction it is going I will not renew my membership and have very little participation.

So ADMIN WAKE UP and smell the coffee........your making a huge mistake!!

Now I am going to snuggle back up into my bed with my hot cocoa because I am freezing my tush off here in Chicago!!

He kept the Fl board running smoothly..

Like many others, I have gone through an evolutionary period in the few years I have known about this board.  Initially for a few months I was what I would call an "Avid Lurker", checking the board many times per day but never contributing to the board.

Then I went through what I would call the "Very Active" period where I was one of the top ten posters just about every month and was very active in the hobby.  Also during this time, I was a very active reader (Once or twice each day) of many other of the larger regional boards.

Now I am back into more of the avid lurker phase again, but still check this board three or four times on many days.  With the only exception being the Reviewer Board (Which I read about once every two weeks) I do not read any other of the boards.  The biggest reason for this reading habit on my part was the constant confrontation and drama I was seeing on so many of the other boards.

As a business owner, I know that turnover of key personnel is not a good sign for any company.  When I compared my company to other competitors, there was a significant direct correlation between turnover of managers and the company's success (market penetration) in the industry.  I believe after this new change, this will mark at least the sixth Mod the Florida board has had in just over four years.

As others have said, the Florida board is unlike most of the rest around the country.  I think a very big part of that is due to the fact that DD, GatorJimmy, etc. did a great job of frustrating the small problem group enough so that many of them no longer post at all.  The 'mood' of the board has been very good in my opinion.

It has to be very frustrating to be a mod, post the rules (given to the mod by admin), and repeatedly have to tell the same people over and over that they are outside those rules.  

This is not OUR board.  This board and everything else about the site belong to the owners.  You determine what does and does not belong.  You determine who does and does not belong.  You determine the direction of the site.

I hope there are enough of the "silent majority" like myself who step up and speak out for you to reconsider this change.

As an extremely sexy BBW in Florida, and under the moderation of someone other than DD, I was accused of being a racists. All my posts were removed and access to this site was VERY  difficult for me. I finally went away.

The content of my PERSONAL website was under this (other moderators) inspection and unless it met with his approval I was not allowed to advertise or comment on ter.

More than half of my clientele are black and I am NOT a racists. when I saw DD was the new moderator I returned to this site. I would hate for this site to go backward after such a wonderful step up

No. TER Admin and owners know whud there doing. I fucking trust there judgement. They made the right fucking call.

I think he is the most generous, kind hearted person, I have ever met....Some people really need to grow up! Quit Complaining.....He did a wonderful job in my opinion..

As a TER member for over ten years, I have seen alot of changes over the years...good, bad, & indifferent. I have to say though that no longer having DD as Moderator is a change that I just cannot get used to.

He is a fair, honest, thorough, stern, organized, diligent guy...all characteristics needed to be a moderator. During his tenure as moderator of the Florida Board, it was fun to post, the Board had a great vibe, people from all over the nation looked at our Board as an example and for good entertainment...He has extensive knowledge about everyone on the board, the history of the Florida Board, and the respect and admiration of the Florida Board.

He is missed. He belongs here. Please, reconsider the decision and bring DD home.

the mood is dark and angry. With DD gone it didn't take long for the flood gates to open and let in the back stabbing drama of a few malcontents that get off on hiding behind their keyboards. I thought Daego did a great  job letting contrasting opinions and discussions go on until they got out of hand. Sometimes he had to put an end to it and shut down a thread so the rest of us didn't have to watch the mud be slung across the board. As others have said, Daego has a special talent to sum up and express the view of the majority in his written words. It is a shame that a few complaints from a small angry minority can get the ear of TER management.  Thanks for everything DD and I hope management has a change of heart. I hope they do...and I hope you are crazy enough to take the "job" back.

while i cud list the reasons why TER Admin n owners made the right deecisions, there really isnt any point. Whuds done is done.

DD is still the mod on the New England and Boston board so admin still thinks well of him!

Why you made your decision is private.......This Florida board is our little spot on The legendary TER Board.

Please weigh the option that DD took his time to carefully look into the backgrounds of each major contributor of this board and with a level hand made judgments that were always fair even if it did not positively impact the person he new better.

As a long time participant of this board I have worked with 5 different moderators, and DD was not the most fun but the most fair. When the users of this Florida board feel like they know the moderator well and have experience with the way he thinks' it sparks more involvement more traffic to the site and more money for the providers and TER ......and most important better talent for the general public who depend on this board for there safety, privacy, and general hobby experience...

Any new moderator would require a new and long learning curve to get to know each one of us again..That is mutually not beneficial to our community as a whole..it slows the process of trust
needed to keep this industry at this scale flowing smoothly.

With dearest respect and  consideration please re-consider your decision so we can all go back to work and have fun.

A heck of a nice guy who has tried always to be fair and even handed to all. We need that before the Florida board goes down the toilet.

gone quite smoothly under his moderation-he has been a breath of fresh air-I would strongly recommend his return-It would be nice to know why he was removed, but it certainly wasn't because he wasn't doing his job-----I would hope Admin can see the outcry and support he has for reinstatement-----1rob....hopefully......out

You can't just sit down at a key board and know the personalities, the history. Shoot....have you even met some of the people (yes....people!!) who make this thing go?  This takes time, patience, and a commitment to making the hobby work.

Thank you for your well stated plea to bring back DD.  Did you read this plea also in my post a few days ago to let the administration know our appreciateion of the good progress DD has brounght to this Florida Board.

Without my having to create the words, as I have quiet frankly been struggling with them.
