In 2 weeks from today I will be on the road to Key West to experience Fantasy Fest for the first time with a few of my girlfriends.  To say that I am excited is clearly an understatement!!!

When I was very active in the swinger world I would hear about this all the time and dreamed of the day when I would be going....well my dream has finally arrived. However, I have no clue what to expect.  

We will be staying in a gorgeous house on another key so accommodations is not an issue. I would love any suggestions on parking? locations to make sure I attend? favorite bars with great food and of course, dancing?

I am hoping to get some photos when I am down there too so don't be surprised when you see them in a few weeks.

How about taking appointments when I am there? From those that have attended, do you think this is possible?

Any positive responses and feedback would be appreciated.

You'll see some outrageous costumes, lots of public drunkenness,  many scantily clad gay men, lots of gay PDA, gay nudity, maybe some public sex,  and some freaky shit. The bars overflow like Mardi Gras. Make sure to bring a camera, and wear a wild costume.  I had some gay guys hit on me when I was there (even though I had a hot date).   I've been 3 times. It's wild for sure.

It's like nude Halloween coupled with Mardi Gras. Lots of older folks. It's most active beginning Thurs. to Saturday night, when they have the parade. Crowds like you wouldn't believe. Lots of civvies taking pictures. Being exhibitionists, the revelers love having their pictures taken. Parking: I was on my motorcycle so I could park right on Duval where my seat got lots of action--gals wanting to pose for pictures on the bike. If you're coming in from out of town, you might park in the lot where the Waffle House/Days Inn is (just as you enter Key West). Take a cab from there. Appointments would work if prearranged and they have accommodations to go to. I don't think you'd want to solicit in town.

Just go and have fun. No need to preplan. Just participate.

Ive been wanting to go for ages, but my friends all just look at me like Ive lost my mind when I bring it up. Every year we go through this...! Im leaving town this year, so I save myself the pain of being so close, yet so far from debauchery, but come back with a "trip report" please so that I can live vicariously through you?
