We did an informal survey on the Reviewer's board and of all the things that made a guy want to see a lady, one stood out, her banter with the guys on the boards.  It gives a snapshot of her personality and makes the posters and lurkers alike a little more comfortable going forward.

Sure, her website, rates and pics are important, but the variable that a lot of people miss out on is personality.  Posts are really the one way a guy has to gauge personality before he actually makes contact.  The rest is up to you!

I hope the guys chime in on this one.

As long as there isn't a parade of ugly pics with desperate guys saying how hot they look, I'm a happy horn dog.

Banter gets my attention.  From there, I look to see solid reviews and an amazing body.  On the rare occasions when all 3 collide, I reach for the phone.

I moved here from Chicago a few month back and can tell you that the Florida board is nothing like the Chicago board. I miss the banter from the ladies and the interaction that takes place on that board.

Nothing wrong with this board or the ladies here. I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the locals and have plans to meet many more.

I know personally I like to chime in on the board but often my posts or things that I have said have been taken as "Oh look at me" types of posts. While that IS relatively true to some degree, after all this is a means to garnering business, I think that some take board posts much too seriously.

I would love to participate more on the boards because I do think that gives a greater view into who I am, but I also think that there are so many gentlemen who do not read these boards and that we still need to adequately represent ourselves on our website etc.

I think it can be. Yours definitely is. But it is more often a gauge of professionalism than personality.

message boards create a sense of community & for many of of us that have used them for years it's our community - but in the big picture TER particularly is reference point only for most people who hobby. If I am traveling my girl & I  can look into what ever city we want for a snap shot of the local talent - read the reviews and look at the ladies website to get the vibe - the local discussion board and those that think they are the arbiters are irrelevant to the traveling hobbiest.
on a local level I agree with da boys here - Hip and my gang - banter is a great way to get to know the locals and it works for me!

Until recently, I never looked at the boards. But a playmate clued me in to them and I see the great value. They really give you a glimpse at the personality of a woman you may want to meet.

I have added favorites and crossed off ladies on my to-do list due to the boards. Some ladies create drama, some are genuine in their response, so a measure of a ladies personality is somewhat evident in their posts.

For me at least, it definitely starts with the board...

I do agree, Rae, especially in your case.  I have grocery shopped with you for crying out loud. Your personality permeates your site as well as your posts. You are a great example of how it should be done.

But many provider web sites have the content written for them or are more geared more toward the marketing aspect of hobbying.  Posts are spontaneous, genuine responses to things put out there.

IMHO, the best threads are the long ones full discussion, differing opinions and playful banter.  Seeing the ladies chime in and playing really helps a guy feel comfortable picking up the phone or making that intial contact.  I know it was always a big part of my decision making process.

I was just relaying the results of a post on a board.  Just trying to pass on information.

Ladies who have been so turned off by antics and negativity they no longer participate.   I would say the first half dozen or so ladies I saw in this hobby were a direct result of their personalities as shown on the Boards of TER.

You can't really learn as much about someone by just her pictures alone.  How she presents her self and her site does give us Gentlemen some good clues, as does some of the extensive writing some ladies have done on their site,  

Erotic Stories like Rae has on her site, Diaries and Blogs that chronicle some of more interesting moments and experiences being had in the hobby, further enhance our knowledge and mental picture of a lady.

But nothing can replace the interaction and almost "real time" communication that goes on here.  Ladies and Gentlemen can learn a lot about each other by paying attention to what's written here.

You can even learn what doesn't interest the other party by paying attention what kind of post people don't respond to.  

Personally I wish all the woman felt welcome here and comfortable and respected enough to interacted more.   I also wish everyone could maintain higher level of decorum even when they disagree.   It all boils down to:   RESPECT
