Due to the overwhelming support for these threads, they will continue daily until such time that TER passes a site-wide policy to the contrary.

I just want to bring several things to everybody's attention.

1. I was personally never opposed to these threads, but when I became a mod I found that so much time was dedicated to editing and approving these posts that I often had 25-50 posts in my approval queue five or six times a day.  This delays provider ads from being posted in a more timely manner which is not fair to those posting ads.  They often ended up 1/3 of the way down the page when they finally went up.  To say that anybody has an idea of how many violated the rules is wrong.  I am the only one who sees every moderated post and every attempt to skirt the 7 day ad rule.  Sorry folks, but it happens.

2. I tried to send every lady a PM stating why their post was disapproved so they could correct their mistake and not make it again. Not telling them was just going to perpetuate the mistake.  This too took up much of my time.  In the future, I will disapprove them and periodically post the ad posting rules.  We will also make a quick and dirty theme pic posting rule as well, all common sense stuff.  It will be up to the ladies to read and adhere to the rules.

3. This is a very active board.  I think that keeping the theme threads to three a week, plus one personal ad per provider every seven days was an equitable solution.  I will endeavour to approve all posts as quickly as possible, but I do believe that five pic threads a week does detract from the board and lead to frequent recycling of pictures.  I will seek out the ad posts and approve them first, as I believe that the ladies deserve to have their ads up as timely as possible.

Tell me what the themes are and I will start the threads.  We will keep them the same every week.  We have had providers jump the gun and start threads the night before, just so they get theirs up first and that is not fair to the other ladies.

1. I agree, take care of the Ladies Adds first over reviewing Theme day adds.

2. Post the "Theme Day  Rules" & "Add Rules" every couple of weeks. Pull violators post off. If they continue, moderate them for a week or 2 till they get it.
.
3. The Mod doesn’t need to start the Theme Day Thread, that’s silly. “Post Time” can be part of the rules, ie,…… "One Theme Day  thread per day, can not be posted before 5 am Regional Board Time the Day Of, and can only be started by a Provider from that Regional Board. 1 pic only per Theme Day Thread. No text in body of post or pic, only the subject line. No phone #’s no dates, or 'come see me’ or it’s considered an add & will be taken down. It’s ok for the lady to respond & say thanks to comments, etc…it shows her personality & fun-ness." (is that a word, LOL).

Pretty easy to reconcile IMHO.

BTW, on this page, the Threads consist of:

16 add threads
4 inquires threads, 2 could have been pulled
1 discussion thread that’s been discussed a 100 times
3 Theme day threads
1 very unpopular Thread by the mod (sorry bro)

Decrease Theme days = 19 add thread per page =  BORING!!!

Text on the photo..

Many girls will put a watermark on their photo to prevent copying of others.  I do think that is correct and fair..

Now I don't see a problem with some text in body of the post.  Something flirtatious though...Not come see me or visiting soon...Agreed that is an ad.

Opps also no links to their site or reviews..yepper that's an ad..

What about the possibility of also adding to the rules about out of state girls posting to another city/state thread.  I see no issue with making sure the lady who is from another city/state having to post a visiting ad with dates prior to posting.  Again..just an idea...don't shoot the messenger. This I feel does cause an issue..

Dang another one...why not making sure the lady posts under the original OP. Yes that can be a pain as it takes away from the lady that posted.

Dang Jimmy I agree with you...your are a wise one!!!

Makenzie

I think all the ideas are great and if someone disagrees and doesn't like the threads then pass them by and don't post on it...Very simple solution..

In the meantime..FLORIDA ROCKS!!!!

Watermarks will not be allowed.

Phone numbers and site links will not be allowed, although if the lady is smart, she will have her TER handle linked to her reviews.  That will be allowed.

Only local and currently visiting girls will be allowed to post.

Just my majorly opinion...

Not allowing watermarks will allow alot of women not to post.

Reasons:
Alot of ladies get professional pics and the logo of the photographer is on there and not permitted to be removed by the photographer.  So therefore, they cannot post those pics???

Again....
Photos can easily be copied by others.  Not permitting watermarks allows for that to happen and could seriously damage someone.

I really think you may need to reconsider this. Just my opinion trying to help other girls out.

If Watermarks will not be allowed....

I for one will not be posting my new
photos with either my logo and or the watermark
from my PRO photographers being Meeshee
or Clic studio's.

My photos have been stolen so many times and so I have to logo and watermark my photos just for these reasons when ever and where ever I post them.

Just my 2 cents worth...

Sincerely,
Kara Keys

....website or phone #'s on it, just the "copyright & provider name".....that's all is needed.

i really don't think the photographer name's needs to be on it, just an add for them, guys could give a rats ass about them anyway, but i know some ladies thinks it adds to their pic because it's profesional, kinda of a vanity pic ting i guess, but ladies....guys don't care, we're looking @ your boobies & tushies!

Watermarks with provider's site or contact info on them will not be allowed.  Name, photographer or copyright symbol are okay.

having the photographers logo on the photo is not the girls choice..

If I am wrong then I am wrong and hope for clarification to that. However, I do think that a professional photographer will only allow a photo to be posted/publicized if their logo is on it.

Someone, correct me if I am wrong....

just giving my opinions and clarification. I generally stay away from all this, but to me and others, the theme threads and just following rules are important.

I have already posted that I am sure the mods job is difficult..

....tell them to go pound sand up there prima donna tushy, lol. Let the market dictate, photographers are a dime a dozen, plenty to choose from that want your $.

But if some are doing this, ladies, reject them & look elsewhere, they'll change their tune quickly, they 're just being manipulative to you if they do this to you.

At least you did what I asked....decide what you're going to do with your board and let us know.

Too many holes in the logic and knee-jerk reactions to a simple thing....so no need to address them as it would only be a waste of time and change nothing.

My only sincere hope is that the whiner girls and those not adept enough to post properly are happy.
It's usually the ones in our society who can't hack it who make the most noise and bitch about "fair".

Enjoy your board folks.

All my photos are copyrighted. Otherwise other boards, sites, are legally allowed to use these for their publications.

When I was a wee innocent girl over 2 years ago, I never had watermarks on my photos. Guess what they were used in many places and it took me a very long time to contact each individual place and have them removed.

The simple © copyright should be allowed on our photos for our protection. If we are not allowed to use copyright symbols I will most likely not post photos here anymore except for my ads.

Some ladies who are not visiting immediately enjoy posting on the theme day threads to gain interest in hopes to indeed become a "visiting lady". Alternatively, they can post a whole new “ad” thread taking up space just to say "Considering a visit...contact me with interest." I don’t think that's a better use of thread space than to let these ladies participate in a thread that is already up. Limiting who can post on a theme thread may be tedious, as the same players end up being the only ones who post. I'm not saying their photos aren't hot, but why not allow variety? It makes sense to let all providers who are interested in gaining Florida interest to post on the thread day threads. I’m certain several of the gents prefer variety. And it would seem that the more ladies on a thread, the better. I'd think it would be wise to encourage all ladies to post.

Personally, sometimes I post on the DC theme day threads even when I'm not visiting in the immediate near future. It allows me to gain interest in order to determine exactly when I should visit.

Xoxo.

You are correct. Making ladies post an ad, taking up more space...which supposedly is the issue we're to believe exists, makes no sense whatsoever.
You are also correct about the possibility of the same players possibly creating tedium, and that all participants should be encouraged.
This is, of course, if you look at it logically.

Now here's another way to look at it. A fantasy or fairy tale, if you will.
Imagine that there is a very vocal minority who dislike the daily theme threads. They post very rarely, if at all. They don't want to be bothered with anything other than their weekly ad and want it to stay up as long as possible. They are too short-sighted to see the daily picture threads as a great business opportunity. A daily 'ad' if you will. Nope. They only see it as too much work, don't like the competition, and therefore whine and raise hell about it not being "FAIR".
Now....following this completely fabricated way of thinking....imagine what they would think of out-of-town ladies. You think they want that kind of outside competition as well?? Does the ban on out of town ladies make sense now????

Of course...this is a complete figment of my imagination and in NO WAY could really happen....could it? ;)
Let's all play nice and be "fair".

Once the Ladies pay the photographer for the session and then the CD they can do whatever they want with the pics.

that I disagree that "only currently visiting ladies" are to post. That truly doesn't make alot of sense. Especially if a lady is only there for say 2-3 days...Just a waste if you ask me. I agree with your points in that it does stir up interest of the gents to see if they chose to visit you or not. As far as the "considering a visit" thread, I use to do that but don't anymore as I got told you have to have dates in your thread. At least that is what I thought.

Gosh darn, I agree with all your points. Nice to have an out of state lady voicing her opinions and you are spot on!!!

I do believe the controversy on the "visiting ladies" truly doesn't have to do with the state of Florida but another city where the local girls get ticked at the ladies who constantly post and have no real interest in coming to that region.

I personally could care less who posts..I love the theme threads and post in them pretty much all the time and I do try to get new photos. Plus I have seen some really hot photos which do ultimately get me going in all the right places.

Which btw, you have some really hot photos always.

in which you could post any type of photo...I encouraged locals (and ANYONE for that matter) to post their photos. Do you know how boring it can be seeing the same locals posting on the threads all of the time? I guess I am secure enough in myself and my regulars that I wouldn't want just the locals posting on theme day threads in my area. BORING. The more the merrier if you ask me. Alas, this is a Florida issue...and I will only post on the theme day threads when I am 200% certain that I will be visiting in the near future. Of course with this new rule, you better believe there will be providers who are only 39.35% certain they will be visiting, declaring with 100% certainty that they will indeed be visiting in the immediate future just so they can participate in the theme day thread, because after all, unless they are visiting **FOR SURE** or local, they can't post. LMAO.

Have fun everyone!:)

I'm in the same boat as MermaidJade and a few others.

As I too have to keep my photos from being stolen and used without my permission.

They can't all be as fucking wonderful as I am, lol.  If I remember correctly, you weren't a big fan of the last permanent one.

I've covered Florida (in stealth mode) for a while.  It's a tough board to moderate.  It's very busy and there are a handful of high profile posters.  The theme days are a bitch to deal with in themselves.

And so skirting the advertising rules.

I thought there was no advertising involved, that the ladies just like posting pictures for the appreciative gentlemen? That's what everyone was shouting about.

Now we see where the real objections come from.

Whether or not it's an ad or a means to show off their assets, they are posting photos that help gain or maintain interest from the locals. Only allowing certain ladies to do so is faulty.

Ad, posting photos, gauging interest, or whatever you would like to call it, it should be inclusive not exclusive. Why create barriers and divisions that just make providers and clients want to move on? Inclusivity is the best way to keep the boards active.

Good discussion.
