Hello all. I am looking for places to stay and eat in the Jacksonville area. I am not familiar with the area at all so any helpful info is greatly appreciated. As far as places to stay...I'm thinking as long as there are things to do (shopping, walking, etc) in the area that's great...AND for food....I am a seafood type person...although I do enjoy sushi and thai food. Depending on your price range, there is a very nice hotel right behind Maggiano's in the Town Center area.  Homewood Suites by Hilton.  Pretty central location, and TONS of stuff for you to do, shopping, restaurants, bars, all within walking distance if you wanted to.  Feel free to PM if you want to know anything else, I'll be happy to help.  

Hello Ally! For staying, eating and shopping, try the St. Johns Town Center area. Nice hotels, centrally located and wonderful restaurants.
