Hey Floridians, I’m considering a tour to Jacksonville in May, and I was wondering if the ponte vedra is ok? I’ll stay downtown if I must, but I’ve only seen the Atlantic Ocean once, so it would be so nice to stay at the beach and have kind of a working vacation. Is Ponte Vedra too far for clients to drive?

Also, are there any good breweries in the area to check out? I like a good porter or scotch ale.

Thanks for any info.

You might want to check out the hotels in the St. John/Deerfield part of Jacksonville. Downtown Jacksonville is a pain in the ass for most men. The beach isn't a bad alternative.

A brewery: Cooper's Hawk at the St. John's Town Center.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks so much for the tip. And, I’ll definitely be checking out Cooper’s Hawk.

I always stay downtown, but parking is a pain, and often times not free. It hasn’t effected business though.

...maybe we'll bump into each other if we happen to visit around the same time in May.
I had kind of been thinking about the airport area or the St Johns Town Center.

Maybe we could grab some breakfast or drinks if we’re there at the same time. When were you thinking of going? I’m thinking May 14-16.
