Despite the property damage from flooding from Hurricane Irene, my friend Toni was here this week, and I was able to forget my troubles and spend some quality time with her a couple of times with her this week in a suburb north of NYC.  Last week, I was at a rather nice hotel on Las Olas Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale, and she came by to visit several times then as well.   Gosh darnit, did I pick the right lady to have as my ATF?  She lives over a thousand miles away from me, but her friendship is priceless to me...and her monthly visits to NY keeps things fresh, and we always enjoy meeting.  Toni, babe, you are the best...
