I have only been to one M&G and it was in Orlando last year. The people in Orlando were great and it was nice to finally put some names with some faces from the Florida board.
My date didn't show, the place was crowded, the "buy-in" was excessive, and a friend had a drink thrown on her. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Close quarters group meet-ups are not my thing, I found out. Others seemed to enjoy the chance to get to know everyone, and it was good to put faces on the names we see alot, but I'm torn on whether to attend another one....
Some of those things have been known to be questionable.
We don't do it like that in O-town.
If you're nervous about your first one...you aren't alone. But...with the great people we have here...you'll find within minutes that you made the right decision to attend. Good people, good conversation, and great fun with classy people. It's a non-judgmental zone completely free of drama.
You should try it out. We welcome anyone who shares common ideas of just having fun and meeting great people.

1 - If you want to get laid that night, it's best to plan that ahead of time. 2 - If you want doubles the next morning, don't drink too much that night. 3 - If you want to have a double session the next morning, don't plan ANOTHER date in Tampa for that afternoon. It seems like a good idea now, but that's just "your mind writing checks your body can't cash". 4 - Get your cardio in ahead of time. If you're not careful, Keyla Keys will DANCE YOUR FUCKING ASS OFF! And if you ARE careful....Keyla Keys will DANCE YOUR FUCKING ASS OFF! 5 - Wear the Gator Jimmy mask they give you at the door...without it you're destined to failure. Hey, look: we can't all be Brad Pitt.... 6 - When you see the beer in the bathtub get low, grab a few and place them under the couch so you'll know where they are. 7 - Don't be bashful...I was, and I never introduced myself to the hottie in the corner (her name is Jinni Mixx, by the way) 8 - Don't fuck with the bouncer; he might be the MOD as well. 9 - Golfstick isn't as handsome (or as good at golf) as his handle might lead you to believe. 10 - When the fight erupts at the after-party, take your date and back away slowly.
I attended my first Florida M&G in Tampa last month and had a great time. It was great to meet both the ladies and the gents from the area and connect with a couple of ladies I had seen in the past. I also met a couple whom I plan to see soon.
There were no problems, no drunks, no drugs, no attitudes, no fights. Just a chance to put some names to some faces and make a new connection or two.
I also plan to attend the Orlando M&G next month and look forward to meeting the ladies at the M&G who I have not had the chance to meet yet, and also some of my fellow hobbiest out there.
