It's troubling to quickly glance at our Board and see so much negativity in the comments to posts. This hobby is supposed to be fun--that's rule number one.

But changes were made a couple of years ago that pretty much killed all the fun we used to have on here. Many of us that used to be top posters here hardly ever post anymore and many of us don't bother to read the board on a regular basis any longer.

moderators were eliminated.  Now, there are too few in admin. who are trying to monitor all the boards with the primary dependence on "report a post" submissions.  The mods were not paid, so it wasn't a budget consideration.

or a plethora of ISO posts which is what this board has degraded to.  
You could start some childish game/word threads or repetitive restaurant threads if you like.  

create a fun and viable community. Not necessarily moderators. If people just ignored the negative posters and didn't feed them, it could work. People also need to come back and try to post as and when they can.

You mean like your classy post on a previous thread bashing a provider asking for a fee that you think is to high.   What a hypocrite

the elimination of the Daily Photos! I used to log on here every day (member since 2004) mostly to see the photos but also because there was so much more chatter/posts!!

do not view the photo board but maybe once a month.

I am thrilled you enjoy my photos.  Sadly I haven't been
up on par with all that lately but that will change soon.
Especially since I will be getting new photos in about a month.

you ladies can think of a way to still have the occassiional Photo Day. Somene could start a thread one morning along the lines of ""How's my new outfit look"? And then the other ladies join in!

Interesting points, Mr.Fisher. And maybe that's what we need! But I remember when the photo threads were the *only* other action here on the FL board besides the usual ISOs.

Guess you missed the cataclysmic trainwrecks on Chicago board 2-3 weeks ago. There were several. Giselle, Zana, MacDiaper plus several other usual suspects were in the middle. Guess you missed or conveniently overlooked that week of 'fraternity and brother/sisterhood?' At least this post will get you nominated for a SPOTY.
