WHat does it seem like so many Providers hate Florida is it really that bad here?

Buddy, you need to get a life..I believe we have great providers and many who travel here..Seems to me Florida is much better than some of those cold northern cities...If you really believe what you wrote, then stay whereever  you are and leave the best for us natives..

I disagree, Florida is bursting at the seems with great providers, I can personally vouch for Tampa and Orlando. EOM

I understand that there is a a lot of providers here but most when you speak to them say florida is cheap and they do better traveling then staying here...just doesnt make sense

First off....how many providers have you talked to since you started (January?)? Do you reeeally think you're getting enough information to speak for a large group? Hmmmmmmm?

In any event...there is a slight bit of truth to what you have been told, and it does make sense, even if the ladies telling you this can't figure it out.
Of course they do better traveling....duh.
At 'home' there's the same pool of ladies and men. Most of the men have seen most of the ladies. They know who is in the area and some guys play the field...some stick with regulars. Even the ones who stick with regulars...not every guy can play several times a week, or even once a week for many.

When they do travel, the guys there know it's for a short time. She's new. She won't be around long. So they flock to see her. She'll have what....4, 6, 8 appointments in a day? (of course they'll tell you this NEVER happens because they are "low volume" wink wink, nudge nudge...but that's another story).
The guys are lining up, filling their schedule, and they are making bank. So yes...they like traveling because when they do...they're the new flavor of the month. They won't have those kinds of numbers at home. Simple math.

Now when they travel...where are they most likely going? Boston, DC, New York, Chicago? Definitely areas that are not considered "cheap" because the cost of living is so damn high. Those cities also have much higher populations...which means more potential customers. Not an apples to apples comparison by any means.

Next time a lady tells you that Florida is "cheap"....tell her to spend some time in Atlanta. She'll appreciate the hell out of FL then...and come rushing back.

....and wanted to give thought, before I replied.

  I visited Florida from time to time, to visit family, but never entertained in my home town.  I did, however, post in a few uncharted areas, and did very well.  For instance, I cleaned up in Gator Country, as well as Seminole territory.  Fared well in Daytona.

  I do not, in any way believe that Florida gentlemen are cheap, but I did receive a number of e-mails, asking me what my Florida rates were.  My rates are the same, whether it is DC, NY, or FL.

 Numbers.  I assure you; I will never need, or want to, visit with eight gentlemen per day.  Yikes!  When in DC, I rarely visit with eight per month.  When on tour, I visit with three, per day, max.  Most of my dates are multi hour, and overnights, so I do not need volume.

Thanks for asking the question, R2P. I am going on my 11th month here and learning all its seasons with their ebbs and flows. I think I will have to travel during certain months to maintain any steady income, but the people are really nice so far. I moved here from a major city in CA so it has taken some getting used to, but I never expected to be as busy as I was back there.

I have never had two appointments in one day ever so I can't imagine having 8! Yikes, indeed! The money would be great, but I would hate my life by the end of a day. As a not-very-busy-but-busy-enough provider, I love what I do. If I were a lot busier with short appointments, I don't think I would have as much energy and excitement for it (and would hence be a less-than-par provider). Back in CA I was much like BeautyWB, and saw my gents for overnights and weekends. One nice man+ lots of time= perfect for me. But I just don't see too many gents in FL that have that same idea about seeing a provider. Most are 1 hour or 90 minute gents.

Are the men cheap? They willingly pay what I ask. I have been fortunate to not experience anyone bargaining with me so far. When they start doing that, then I will think they are cheap.

...I love Florida. The weather is great, the atmosphere is great..my home is here, BUT, to have gainful employment here is another story.... it is transient. It is seasonal. It is cheap. It is competative. Shall I continue?!

Hate is strong word. And, in what respect are you speaking? Professional, probably yes. Most of the ladies travel.  There are a few wonderful locals, but it is too unpredictable to remain here permanently and rely upon the Florida economy.

There are conventions and wonderful times of year, such as January, February....there are slow/dead times such as July, September.... It depends upon the lady, her following, her demands/requirements, etc.

This was a loaded question. Personally, it's not that bad and I love Florida!

These things happen MUCH more in larger metropolitan areas.
Chicago, NY, Jersey, Boston, Vegas, LA, Atlanta....it's common practice.

It's not a geographical problem....it's more societal.
Men who want to feel powerful and attractive....who get their egos stroked by paying for the feeling. The more they get...the more they want. The more they feel entitled to.

It's not unique to Florida...and to assume so is just being blind to the situation as a whole.

I've lived in the Miami area for roughly a year and I will honestly admit, it's not the easiest place to be a provider. The problem I run into most is with my rate of $300hr as I'm double what most charge and $100 shy of what perceived upscale providers charge (this is in no way an intended as a jab at $400+ ladies). Thus my rate is too expensive for 2 boards & too cheap for this and another. I still make great $ here because I network, strip, meet new clients while out and about, am well know in other areas, occasionally tour and my 4hr rate is reasonable. South FL is a tough market to crack and I certainly wouldn't advise touring here (Central & North FL are both great to tour) but, there is fun to be had and $ to be made if you're willing to work differently. The key is you have to work, the market is over-saturated at times and if you are not able to stand out in your own way, you'll be lost in the crowd.

I would say it's more sociopathic behavior

the summer, more Florida ladies travel north to escape the heat in Florida.  Also, the in the summer there are less businessmen traveling to Florida so there are less guys to P4P.

90% of the ladies I have seen are in Florida and I am proud of the friendships I have made.
