I tried to post this in the form of a "Dear John" letter but TER said it was slanderous.

Please feel free to comment... (or take notes)

Do you ever wonder why she doesn't return your calls?  Could it be:  Halitosis??

Do you realize what a turn-off it is when you have the worst gingivitis that anyone has ever seen?!  Is there a rank odor that emanates from your breath surrounding you much like the cloud of dust known to follow Pigpen from Peanuts?  Are you are a very intelligent man but apparently not wise to the ways of oral hygiene.  Don't you ever wonder why a girl will not allow you to "dine at the Y"??  Could it be possible that she is afraid of a bacterial infection from your disgusting mouth!

Does your date fend off your kisses even though her reviews reveal that she adores a good make-out session?  Is it possible that when you leave, she scrubs her body from head to toe to remove the stench of your saliva lingering on her flesh.  Or that she burns candles to get your odor out of her bedroom.  It amazes me that some folks won't take the few small steps each day to brush and floss even though it must affect them socially as it surely must be affecting their sex-lives!  Smelling good and being healthy are sexy attributes - there is no mystery here!  If you went to see a date and she had foul breath or foul smelling anything, it would be over!  How is it that this concept evades some?  A dog licks his anus all day and yet manages to have better smelling breath than certain individuals.

Please do everyone (including yourself) a huge favor and brush, floss, use mouth wash and see a dentist!!!  It could make or break a man - socially speaking (and perhaps professionally speaking)

Don't be orally challenged!

...a young lady I saw recently had a faint, but distinct odor of garlic on her breath. I found it a bit off-putting, so I passed on the LFKs and DFKs during the session and worked around it....It wasn't overpowering, but I would've preferred minty fresh.

Garlic but Halitosis? blehhhhh!

I often wonder if it's also caused by a bad diet and bad digestive system.  There was one man i would travel with (dear sweetheart) but his breath was so undesirable, I'd put off kissing him. I'd give the ass out, side cheek kiss to him. Then I discovered he would always mention how he was 'starving' and needed to eat.  After he would eat, even a small meal or a baked good, his bad breath would suddenly disappear!

From that point on, I always brought him a sweet baked good before our long extended times together.

Is there a DR. in the house who can tell me if halitosis has a link to stomach problems?

In answer to your question....yes, stomach diseases can play a role in halitosis, as can many other non-gingivitis related problems...ie liver disease, diabetes, etc.  A problem called tonsil stones, where deposits of certain minerals form on the tonsils can cause bad breath.  People who think they are doing themselves a world of good taking tons of herbal suppliments can smell up an entire room with their breath and sweat. A diabetic with too little insulin, or a person on a high protein...NO carb diet form ketones which make their breath smell like nail polish remover!   I guess my reply to the original poster is: not every person with "not so fresh" breath is a scuzbag who has never brushed his/her teeth....many are...but many may have another problem, or are doing something they think is healthy and you are suffering from the side effects!  I've met a couple providers who had a little problem (usually from what they ate before my arrival)  I simply got out some breath spray that I always carry for my self, and used it...they in turn asked if they could have some.  It was very simple, and I didn't embarrass myself or her, and we had a great session.
