Here's to all the Good Guys out there who are the role models for the next generation. Thank you for showing up as the Gentleman Warrior. The one who seeks solutions with words, the one's who are available in case of emergency, (even at 3 o'clock in the morning.) You helped raise families, paid mortgages and provided the lion's share when it came to financial support. You were taught as long as you worked hard, everything would work out alright, and it usually did.
Here's to all the men out there who fix things, keep things running, providing for their kids and the children they married into. Loving and looking out, being the strong one with all the advise and answers.
Here's to all the men who served in the military and returned Spiritually wounded, missing the early years of their children's growth, and still longing for deeper connection with their wives and kids. As a father, it's always nice to be remembered on this day. I had a real nice dinner at Outback with my boys and their grandfather (my ex's dad, and no she was not there....) tonight.
spoke with my son in NC-walked the German Shepherd a couple miles-watched the US Open and went to my first Louisiana crawfish feast-it was good but for me it was way too much trouble to get to what little meat there was-won't be trying it again any time soon-smile have a wonderful week...... 8-)
