I have actually been more of a reader than a commenter, but after some time reading the newby boards (which were very helpful at first but seem to have gotten out of hand lately), I think I'm ready to dive into the hobby in the Central FL area.

Since I am new at the hobby (in the US that is), I was wondering if someone has any final advice? I am well behaved, polite and use common sense but admittedly it's still a bit nerve racking...

Based on pretty much EVERYONE's advice I'm going to try with a well-reviewed provider and prefer (pretty my only option for now) incall. Any input from fellow members (or providers, that would be awesome!) will be highly appreciated!

I would say who I have in mind but not sure if its unethical or "frowned upon" to make those kinds of statements on the forums.

1. Not a VIP but I really want to. Kind of scared of the whole transaction since PayPal is not an option but I realize I should overcome that worry...

Yes, I should have been more specific: I am looking for someone on her 20's (as I am), with great personality (hey, it might not be important for some- but for a newby like me feeling relaxed and having someone talkative is as important as looks), and I don't really have a specific ethnicity... whatever catches my eye! (That being said I prefer slender or athletic girls ladies)

As someone new to this... what should I expect to be asked to verify ID? (Want to make sure I can clearly identify between what's a normal ID check question and what is not)

As a guy in his 20's, you are going to have a few more obstacles due to your age.  You will need to either join a verification service or be willing to give some personal information to get screened.  

ID might include a DL; you should cover up your address and part of the DL number with your thumb and allowing only your name and photo to be seen.  

DO NOT give your SSN, any CC info, etc.  There are scam artists everywhere (not in a high percentage but they exist).  Uncle Bruno could be hiding in another room.  Keep your wits about you and let the big head do the thinking.

VIP would be good so you can read the details in the reviews and also so you can PM reviewers to get more information.

You've gotten good advice so far, and apparently have done your homework on the Newb board.

A verification service would be a very good idea (Date Check works quite well) and VIP is NOT an option. You simply have to have it to get access to the wealth of information available. PMs from other members (the wise ones...not the crackpots...LOL) will help you tremendously.
I know it did me.

....read reviews & get PM's. Most hobbyist will not give 'free' info to cheap bastards w/out VIP, but will share info via the PM.

No excuses now, if you have read the newbie board, you know this.  Also, w/no reviews & experience, join a date check site mentioned above.

You appear ripe for the plucking. It'll cost you fifty bucks for a three month VIP. You need that so we can contact you with information we don't want to post in public. You can also contact guys whose opinion you've come to respect. Ladies also can contact you with forbidden talk. Oh, the joy!!!

Forget the ladies in their 20s with hard bodies (for now). Get yourself one of the fine ladies on here with great reviews who will be gentle with your psyche and give you some experience. They'll probably tip you off to some of the reliable types you're looking for. It'll be money well spent.

TER uses CCbill to process memberships. CCbill has been around for some time now and is probably the largest. I have used them in the past. Never had a problem with them.. Get yourself a VIP!

Gatorjimmy- Trust me, it's not a money issue! I do agree the VIP is well worth it... it's just concerns about using my CC. Now, that link was very helpful and I just ordered a gift card CC today! (Never thought you could still use for online payments but it's true- that makes sense!)

Hardwood- I understand your point and will take you on your word for it. It does make sense to go with a more experienced/ very highly reviewed lady... I have been looking at Ms. Bouvier for some time actually, but considered her a little out my league in the sense that everything, from her site to her looks and her descriptions seem so intimidating... for lack of a better word. But thanks for the note!!
