if not, why not?

I don't trust the sites and the women. From some experience. I'm thinking ads and responses are planted/managed by the websites. Duh!

It is more likely to meet one in the business. It is a relationship that takes time to build. Wealthy men looking for a baby are not around every corner.

...I have a client in New York who met a fabulous girl on one of the Sugar Daddy sites. She was younger (in her early 30s, he in his early 60s), attractive, lives in a beautiful apartment in Manhattan, travels, speaks several languages, an equestrian ... very, very interesting girl. He wanted me to "seduce" her for a menage a trois. It worked and we had a great time.

I was able to speak to them both privately and was curious "how they met/their arrangement". As I said, she had a picture and an ad on a Sugar Daddy site saying she was looking for an older man to take care of her in exchange for a few hours a month of companionship. Basically, he gave her anywhere from $3000-$5000 a month to be applied towards her tuition. She was attending graduate courses. He also lavished her with gifts...expensive purses, perfumes, jewelry. They would see each other maybe a few hours in the afternoon, once or twice a month whenever their schedules permitted. Instead of "leaving an envelope" each time, he would just deposit money into her bank account at the beginning of each month. Without telling me specifics, she indicated she had a "few" gentlemen friends like him. If she had 4 gentlemen, that's $20,000 a month and would just see one a week in the afternoon. The rest of her time was her own.

Is it any different than some situations here? Not really. Just the semantics and method of exchange. It gave them both a feeling of more of a "relationship" as opposed to a business transaction. Is it the same thing? Some say yes, some say no... it seemed to have worked for them. It has been a few years now and they still have their arrangement.

I think it depends what you are looking for. Some of those ladies from what I understand though, can be high maintenance and high drama. But then again, I suppose that happens over here, too

It has brought me a few VERY nice friendships. I've travels across the country by train, flew to USVI, and even camped out in the desert in Nevada (Burning Man) etc . I've even received some  beautiful jewelry and dynamite gifts.

I think of it as NO strings attached Girlfriend. I offer all the loving, nurturing and friendship, without all the crap that goes along with strings that ARE attached.

I think it's just a modern date courtship.

but as a supplement not the sole support. Found the sites annoying but it seems like
it could be avery satisfying mutually beneficial arrangement. I'd love a married woman with an understanding husband.

And found its mostly a waste of time, in my opinion. A lot of guys on there just dick around and are not serious.

A few literally wanted to arrange to meet me for dinner then pay me $xxx and go to a hotel "for a good time". We all know what that means. To me that was pretty much like seeing a client in the hobby... Except when seeing a client I have the benefit of references so I know he's not a creep or whatever. If I went on a dinner date to screw some wanna-be sugar daddy, how would I know he's not going to rape/rob/murder me??

There should be some sort of review system or discussion boards on those SD sites... That might eliminate a lot of the drama and nonsense one encounters. But then again it might also eliminate anonymity. :-/

After my experience, I'd have to say its not for me.
