Provider Friday was a great thing...but it got overshadowed by the greediness of those who insisted on having a stupid "Theme" every damn day.....welll guess what, too much exposure on a board that only allows 1 provider ad a week as the rules prevailed, and the Provider Friday fell because of it.

Whoever thought that "More is better" can now sing.  I wish the Theme Days would go away and let the Hobbiest go back to making a voice for a lady he would like to call out to, and the ladies can have their 1 theme day along with 1 ad a week.

This is my thought.

The Mods used to start the thread and others would post.

Without the Mods a hobbyist needs to start it. Unlike the ladies we have very little to gain by starting the thread.

It has nothing to do with theme days.

However, I am sure that with all the theme days, no hobbiest felt the need for there to be a "Provider Friday" anymore.  Even when there was a Mod, the "Theme Days" still were posted on Friday giving a double call out to some ladies.

Like I said originally, More in this case isnt better, and its getting old.  I for one liked Provider Friday...I met some cool ladies who I never would have noticed if I hadnt seen them called out by another hobbiest on there...I cant say that about the "Theme Days"....if others have, great, good for you.......all I'm saying that having different threads promoting a lady every day, when the rules of this board allow 1 ad per week gets to be overkill.

Again, this is my thought on it...some may agree, some may not....I take disagreement with respect for someone elses thoughts.....oh, and to the person who wants to say if I dont like the theme days, then dont look, I'll answer.....I dont look.  lol

I'm with you Haya, as well, last time I tried to start a provider Friday thread, admin added "Shill Post".......no shit, the whole fucking board is a shill post

Provider Friday, I don't miss it.  IMHO, it was just an excuse for guys to shill for ladies.  And often times, the same guys would nominate the same gals over and over.......

The death of Provider Friday has come at the hands of apathy, and nothing else. Basically....no one gives enough of a crap to start it...and start it the right way. It was started, and perpetuated, by active mods who had an interest in the value of the board. Whether or not it had "value" depends on individual opinions.
I felt it had value because it was one of the few things that was "male driven" around here. Over the years there were ladies presented that I didn't even know about. The rules kept the posts short, sweet, and to the point. Yes...there were people who took advantage of the opportunity and tried pumping the same gal week after week....but that's what we had *active* moderation for. To keep that crap in check.

Regarding theme days (which has been lumped into this thread topic) there are many opinions, always have been, always will be. We can always agree to disagree.
Frankly, dealing with it was one of the most difficult aspects of being a mod....lol.

Florida board is the ONLY board that, completely without moderation or oversight, has kept the idea of theme days alive and valuable. The ladies stick to established themes, still take pics specifically for that....and the use of old pics has dropped significantly.
The only thing I can offer to those who think theme days on the FL board are "bad".....is....go look at Atlanta board. That board is the true example of "theme day" abuse. There's hardly ever an established "theme". It's just an excuse for the first girl, or agency, to grab a stock pic...post it...and call it anything they want to.
Wild, Freaky, Humpday, Wicked, Teaser, etc.....are NOT themes.
Atlanta is the example of laziness...and is allowed to perpetuate due to lack of moderation or concern for the quality of the board.

So if you don't care for FL board theme days.....do NOT go look at Atlanta board. It'll make your head fucking explode. LOL.

because I felt the designation as a 'Shill Post' -whether it was or not- to be demeaning to me and the lady-I, as others who have commented here, found some really great ladies because of 'Provider Friday'..Hate to see it go..1rob...my 2 cents....out
