I think our time is better spent keeping it civil and focused on the pursuit of pleasure. It sounds like a license to flame folks, maybe unfairly, and that's not what we're about. Maybe others have a differing view.

I'm stealing this idea off the Chicago board. A couple of weeks ago the mod there decided to have some fun and had a "Train Wreck Thursday". Basically all rules were thrown out the window and members could post whatever they wanted as long as no personal information of any kind was included.

I thought we might spice up the board for a bit. So, anyone think this might be a fun idea?

GatorJimmy, got the balls to deal with this?

Come on. 18 of the last 25 posts are provider ads. Nothing wrong with that at all but let's have some fun here. We need a bit more here then just provider posts and ISO posts. Train wreck does not mean you have to bash someone. If just gives a place to state what is on your mind. Let's interact.

Maybe I may start it off by saying that I hate providers that wear green granny panties. Well if I said that and I was moderated, Gatorjimmy may pull the post because he may just love ladies who wear them.

Nothing put up has been a "personal attack" by definition.

For example it's ok to say that a post is stupid, but you can't call the poster stupid.
It would be a personal attack to call you an asshole (which I didn't) but not a personal attack to say something is an asshole post.
See the difference?

It will help you remember that a(ffect) is a v(erb) and e(ffect) is a n(oun).

Now if you need help defining between a verb and a noun, I can't help you there.

Maybe you should write this down, as I hear that when brains age the effect is that they cannot recall information as well, thus affecting the perception of the individual and causing them to embarrass themselves in public.

I think that if you have to use a moderator as an excuse not to shell out for VIP, then you have no intention of renewing anyhow.

TER is not just about discussions boards. The boards are merely a perk to VIP. You can read them and post on them without VIP status less aliases.

If you want to volunteer for a mod position, maybe you can co-mod with Jimmy in order to get an appreciation for his job. It comes with free VIP too.

Listen, gatorjimmy is truly a gifted mind, I gotta admit. He's just not mod material. He enjoys the repartee too much not to join in with the boys. That sets up a privileged class.
