I not only was NOT told why, I have NO IDEA who to even ask!

SAD. I am thinknig I was correct in assuming THIS is just a way
for TER NOT to have to be held accountable for certain things.

I got a sweet PM from a member asking me to TRY to "stick it out" HERE.
I AM giving it my best BUT...
I am sorry to say that MY participation in THIS discussion board
may soon come to an END.

When I choose a cyberHOME (even part time)
the integrity of that place is VITAL to me as The wildthing...
I do NOT want to be associated with jagoffs.

I'm going to give it a chance as I HAVE been...
but, that's it, just a chance.
This "zoo" atmosphere is already getting OLD.

Not to beat a dead horse, but happy to see that Florida Ads Board again has moderators.

Wondering if same cam be done here to make everyone happier than they currently are.

Sorry if I step on some toes but if that many people have been going on for that many days about a change in moderator it tells you right there that the former mod had relationships with certain people on the Florida board. If the board is to remain interested the person managing it must have a fair, unbiased position on the boards at all times. It's difficult for people not to develop relationships (virtual or otherwise) so perhaps a rotation of personalities would work better.

I'm with Soflaguy44. It's time to move on and to allow the Florida Board to go back to talking about other things.

The Staff moderate the Atlanta, Atlanta Ad, Florida and Florida Ad boards. Nothing has changed in that regard since Dirtydaego and Little Phil were relieved last week.

Admin

he is being sarcastic,  maybe patience with this unknown is wearing thin, maybe he thinks this is so unplanned that he has a hard time remembering why we pay to be here,  maybe he just wants you guys to get it together and get it going.  Nothing is perfect but come on ADMIN shit or get off the pot.  get it rolling or give the dice too some one else.  sorry my feelings.

I value what you posted & I think it makes sense BUT...

even if NONE of us agree with it (which I think is NOT the case),

you STILL have a right to voice your opinion & I am glad you did.

Have we not let TER Administration know the impression of board memebers?  Does anyone know if asked if DD would return?  TER owns the board, have heard our input and hopefully are weighing it. When the split of the Florida board in two (2) boards, they heard the pleas and returned it into one (1) board to the liking of the members. Are we now overdoing it about the Board Moderator.

Self appointed Moderators do not represent the policies of the TER Administration nor the authority to act for the best operation of this Board.

TWT, if you go to your account manager, you can then look at all your board posts.  It's possible the reason for your thread being taken down might be there.

We are discussing adding a DB were people can curse, snipe and be, well, a bit wild. We are still trying to figure out it it would help, and how it wouldn't piss everyone off.

We do think that if we do it, that users could not use aliases. We are also think of people only discussing the other people post actively in this board.

I am sure that you all have thoughts.

that SOMEONE answered my concerns.

I was frustrated but, I am feeling better now &
I am not planning to go anywhere anytime soon.

Drama, like it or not... IS a "draw" for some people.

I will admit that, I LIKE a little drama sometimes...
It can be very entertaining.

Haven't you noticed that the threads with drama,
USUALLY get the most "play"?

I do NOT condone CRUELTY for instance...
picking on someone's appearance BUT...
I DO enjoy some drama here & there.

I do NOT think a SEPARATE forum is the answer because...
I BELIEVE you will find it MIGHT become MORE ACTIVE than this one.

You cannot have just "a little drama". It is like saying that someone is just "a little burned". Drama always finds a way to escalate, and most often out of control. If you enjoy playing with fire, be prepared when it comes back to burn you eventually.

Isn't TER supposed to be the  "The Wild Wild West" . . . Makes one wonder who is minding the fire?  The only reason that TER has been so successful in the past is that it has been a virtual cocktail lounge for like minded men and women to mingle together exchanging information about the hobby and getting to know other likeminded people that buck all the politically correct crap that we get our nose rubbed in outside of this world.  Seems to me TER should be very thankful for the fact that we've chosen to gather here for so long buying the VIP memberships that I am sure have made the owners of this site very wealthy.

Seems to me that the way this change was initiated reflects a complete disregard for those who have made TER so successful.  I do agree that there are some changes that could make this site better.  I am sure that many ladies would like the ability to post a response to any negative review that they may have receive sometime in the past because some clients are jerkoff's or don't have a clue how to write a review.  At present we can't even comment about these reviews without fear of being moderated.  It would also be helpful to us if we were able to recommend or not recommend the reviewer to other ladies who might have a date with them in the future.  We already do this on the various screening sites that we accept screening from.  Most of us ladies are just as generous to the gentlemen with our recommendations as the men are to us with their mostly inflated scores in our reviews.  Our recomendations are mostly related to weather we had a safe encounter with the gentleman in question.  I am sure that most of us ladies would be very reluctant to not recommend a date to others because making a habit of doing so without reason would scare potential dates away and inpact our incum.

There are many social media sites that are politically correct that prohibit profanity, nude photos, frank discussions relating to sex, and so on.  I think what has made TER so successful in the past is the fact that we could let our hair hang down and even show our asses, and everything else for that matter ;-).  What I thank brings us together is that most of us like the wild wild west which is why the men on this site go against society's politically correct morals to become hobbyists and us ladies to become providers.

Maybe the owners of this site have very good reasons for the recent changes.  But wouldn't have been a lot more agreeable to for all of us to accept if you had first enlisted the support of DD and Little Phil to assist you in selling the idea to the rest of us.  It is very likely you would have found that there would have been very little opposition.

It seems to me that there is some important information that we board members are not being made aware of that is the real reason for all these sudden changes.  You don't have to fix what is not broken. . .

Suggestion . . .  End the use of alias by all members and only one membership per ip address.  That would enable the membership to be self restrained and self policing.

Yes, others were polled other than me.

But then I have posted openly about my feelings.

10 years.

I also sent a PM to boardadm over 48 hours ago and have yet to hear back.

I have yet to have anyone respond from customer service in less then 20 hours. If it routinely takes 20 hours for moderated members to get there post up or well over a day for a new member to get a simple questions answered, the new paid moderators, is a bad idea.

Admin said the new CS people respond in a few hours, but my experience just on 21st of this month took about 36 hours not the 1 or 2 claimed happens. The answer given was "depends" with little explanation on what it depends on and a link to what I already read many times and still had a question. So it took 36 hours to get a non answer. I feel for you in Florida and Atlanta if that is going to be typical. I hope TER rethinks ditching the Mods. Most of them have been great and done a much better job then the paid staff at getting back to me.

TER Admin and staff respond fairly quickly during their working hours.

The challenge arises from the TER Admin and staff being in a different time zone from the majority of their TER customers, which means their work day ends while the majority of their TER customers are active. If TER customers submit a question to customer service or write a post that requires moderation, then the TER customers have to wait until the next day when TER Admin and staff "come back into work.

I like the Wild West DB idea, along with its stipulations that aliases are not permitted. I also think that the TER rules (e.g. protecting the anonymity and privacy of TER customers) should also be strictly enforced by the TER Admin. While it may be the Wild West DB, you never know who might be reading it (e.g. Law Enforcement).
