Curious if anyone has done any hobbying in Oslo or in Norway in general.  Having read a couple of Europe-based message boards, I get the impression that Norway and Sweden are even more draconian than the U.S. about the hobby.  About the only thing I've seen for Oslo is a couple of agencies which look like bait & swiitch.

I would appreciate any info from anyone who has traveled there recently and has hobbied or attempted to hobby.

From a conversation I've had with a Swede at a...party, Sweden is very strict about hobbying.  Denmark, however, is not.  So, if you can get to Denmark... there's an overnight ferry that goes from Oslo to Helsingor, DK. You can even get a visit in to Hamlet's Castle.

Everything is expensive in Denmark though.
